The Heroine’s Journey of Diane Mozzone

The ability to share experiences with those who are desperately seeking growth has become the most rewarding aspect of my job. I stay awake for hours with motivated people to work out their conflicts, as they look up to me as an intelligent and positive role model.

To me, “perfect happiness” means balance between my personal and professional development.

My greatest fear is giving up my freedom of choice in the direction I wish to pursue.

The trait I most deplore in myself is the lack of patience I have. If I lose, break or misplace something, my temper will flare up quickly!

My greatest extravagance is eating in fancy restaurants, which offer exotic cultural tastes for me to explore and enjoy.

I would lie to protect an acquaintance or myself, if I were unsure of the facts. My curiosity and investigative skills would lead me to search for the truth, and reveal my supporting details at that time.

Since my exposure at an early age to Rachel Carson’s, “Silent Spring”, finding positive role models are the most important aspect of my growth. I love to read success stories, and imagine other’s hardships as they pursued their goals.

The thing I dislike most about my job is the wait, since I am an impatient person. After I submit for a role, the time between audition/acceptance and production may take months, which leaves me unavailable to submit for other roles.

Analyzing which job made me the happiest is extremely difficult with my diversified background. However, using my brain and feeling needed are two forces that drive me, so my experience in the engineering department of N.Y. Telephone Company, (formally, “Ma Bell”) fulfilled those aspects.

Being overly trusting of others is the biggest change I would make in myself. The biggest obstacle is to know who my real friends are in life.

The biggest achievement I have made in acting is speaking roles in TV/Film. I acting recently, and at my age am proud to be able to have fulfilled the roles to the directors’ liking.

The most inspirational location for me in San Antonio is the Japanese Tea Garden, which is connected to the zoo and Breckenridge Park. Entomology is a passion of mine, and I often like to observe insects in the wild.

My favorite place to eat in S.A. is at the Pearl Market. I can enjoy a diversity of fine foods, while listening to great bands and observe people.

My greatest partner in crime is my wonderful husband Artie, who I have been married to for fifteen years in December. We share the same interests, and are inseparable whenever our job permits, as other actors have witnessed.

The person I would like to work with the most in my future is Vivian Fox. Super talented and beautiful, I would love to learn from her.

The project I am looking forward to working on is actually my own short film script, in which I play the lead, with my husband in one of the supporting roles. I produce the movie and it is totally self-funded.
