What is the best thing that I love about my work? Making an impact in people’s lives. Giving voice to the creatures in my head. Playing dress up. Discovering new worlds when I study to create a character.

What is my idea of perfect happiness? Fresh food, a home full of light and brilliant friends.

What is my greatest fear? To see my dreams never come true.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Sometimes I have a childish lack of self-confidence.

What is my greatest extravagance? Confusing reality and imagination.

On what occasion would I lie? Only to protect someone I care about.

What is the influence of role models, in my work and in my life? When I was a teenager, I was in love with Bette Davis and Simone Weil. My heroes are those who stand up and say no when necessary.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Corruption, the influence of politics in the theatre, hypocrisy, ignorance, long tours, actors/directors talking at you without listening.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? Everytime I get on stage and feel the audience truly respond to what is going on.

If I could, what would I change about myself? My whole face. Or maybe, the feeling of being ugly.

What is my greatest achievement in my work? Responding to adverse circumstances with energy and dedication. Fighting for what is mine. Not being typecast.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I don’t feel like I belong anywhere, so unfortunately there isn’t anywhere I call “mine”. When I need inspiration, I either train and sweat or I take my dog out for a walk. I find urban landscapes inspiring.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? My neighbourhood has a lot of lovely spots. Anything with a garden is welcome.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Very few, selected people.

Whom would I like to work with, in the future? I’d definitely love to do some more film work, and act abroad. On my dream list there would be Ivo Van Hove, Thomas Ostermeier, Mark Rylance, Matteo Garrone.

What project, in the nearby future, am I looking forward to work on? I’ve finally gathered the courage to start writing something!
