Not being in true contact with my loved ones, losing them..and losing my connection with the true essence.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

The trait I deplore the most is eventually the trait that I’ve learned to appreciate.

: Doubting myself ( ..equals also going inward, honest conversation with myself)

: Losing myself in too many “detours” (equals also eye for exquisite details..)

: All causing me arriving late instead of early…. But I always say.. Better late than never (

Fashion related: The C&A Foundation because their vision of creating a positive change in the world is also where I stand for.

The Dutch X-Bank for they are presenting a breathtaking Conceptstore were all esthetically woven areas (Art, Fashion & Interior / Design) are brought together under a stunning historical roof. Team Coco Chanel because they are representing such an elegant & timeless style. Still admiring Coco and her founded legacy. Isabella de Pedro because her designs & authentic chosen prints are wonderful. Anna van Toor because she is a good example of Dutch design & strong branding.

Related to Interior Design: Marcel Wanders and his co-creating team belong definitely to my Inspirator-list because of the multidimensional “Alice in Wandersland” effect. The whole PortugeseTeam under the umbrella of Covet House , Koket, Rug’s Society, Brabbu, Pull Cast, Circu & Co, for the impressing detailed craftsmanship combined with elegant “Art -Decorian” designs. Also Jonathan Adler is very inspiring to me.

What is my greatest extravagance?

I keep on dancing until the music stops…

On what occasion would I lie?

I can not… or just say nothing at all.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Maybe the periods of being too much a solist at work without colleagues and feedback’s surrounding me.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

When I lived abroad in Sicily, Sardinia, Gran Canaria, Costa del Sol and Malta.. being inspired by different people, cultures and stunning nature. The positive effect Nature has on me, especially when the sea is close!

If I could, what would I change about myself?

Stop smoking cigarettes.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

Starting my own entrepreneurship, sharing my creativity. Pursuing my own path, dreams and wishes.

Where would I most like to live?

I felt really good in Ibiza.. but there are so many breathtaking places mother Earth offers. Wish to discover more of her!

What I most treasure can not be possessed..

Expressive & positive, underlined with a lot of details.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

A lake close-by called Stroombroek Braamt. There also is a waterski & bar lounge bar facility. After a nice walk around the lake, drinking a cappuccino or a nice chardonnay on the sofa in front of the lake, always evokes a brief holiday feeling.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

That is definitely the Mexican restaurant Gringo’s in the centre of Doetinchem! This establishment has an exceptional joyful interior with very tasteful tapas and other specialties. In the weekends after dinnertime this magical place is turned into a cosy discotheque. On all fronts it is a place where I love to be.

What books influenced my life and how?

* A book I will carry throughout my life is “The Masters of the far East” written by Baird T. Spalding. Thanks to my embodiment of Reiki and the Salverda’s 20 years ago I became connected and read it so many times.This book is based on a expedition in the far East, a true story with miraculous adventures and encounters with wise enlightened souls. This book gives me inspiration and strength since it became a part of my life.

“ The prophet” written by Kahlil Gibran. A profound and multi layered touching Poem. I love his expression: “ Pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses our insight”.

“ The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho: How positive energy creates and radiates throughout all areas of life.

“ The shadow of the Wind” : by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. The magic of the story inside the story..inside a…. Mystery! It gives me the feeling that I am a part of the mystery myself.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

I am planning to postpone my last day…but when it comes you will hear one of the songs of Genesis, Eagles, Sade, Coldplay, Lenny Kravitz, Sting, Jamiroquai and Marco Borsato. Their melodies and song-texts are my boosting, soothing and strengthening fuel through all my life.
