What is the best thing that I love about my work?

I can do what I love doing the most, which is drawing. Inside this world, I’m able to do Illustrations,comics,sketches,concepts,etc. But I have to say that what I most enjoy to do is drawing comics.

 What is my idea of happiness?

Living in a nice,quiet country,with my partner while working in the comic book industry along with personal projects.

What is my greatest fear?

I have so many ! But I will write the two biggest in my opinion, the first one is not being able to move to another country, and the second one, is not being able to keep doing what I love the most.

 What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

Sometimes,I feel like a cannot finish any of my personal projects, sometimes becuase I do not feel like keep up with it,and other times I just feel lazy to do it ,and I could start drawing anything else.It’s something I do not like of myself,I feel like I cannot be constant enough to finish my projects.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

I have many of them but if I have to choose some names,I would say Tim Burton’s works are a big inspiration in my journey. Also, I felt very inspired by Ai Yazawa’s manga works during my teenage years.

What is my greatest extravagance?

I don’t know if it’s something extravagant, but I enjoy listening to horror stories,dark cases while I’m working,I’m a huge fan of horror. I also like to listen to metal, dark rock, synthwave, music. And other thing,I like to finish what I’m doing quickly,I do not like to spend much time on one piece. I like to work fast.

On what occasion would I lie?

I wouldn’t lie. I have nothing to hide in my work.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Sometimes it really bothers me when I draw faces…they do not look like I imagined,or I’m always changing the noses,the eyes,I do not know…Other times,when I’m working on something that I really like,when I’m between the process,I’m concentrated in getting it finished and doing it fast,that sometimes I forget to enjoy what I’m doing.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

Once,when I was working on my own comic book,when I was at college. And later,when I was working on a project for Disney, in the studio, the first months I was the happiest person. I had to work all traditionally, and with the company of great people,I specially miss working with when at that time was my Art Director. I remember those times with a big smile.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I’m a very anxious person and sometimes I don’t like how my work turns out or I have the feeling that I need to change something or that it doesn’t look the way I pictured it. It’s like it’s never enough. I’m trying to change that way of thinking.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

The experience I gained, all the practice, drawing everyday, loving what I do. Never giving up.

Where would I most like to live?

I would love to live somewhere in Europe or in Canada. I always felt that I don’t belong where I was born. I struggled with this my whole life.

What is my most treasured possession?

I would say my sketchbooks and my digital drawing tablets. 

What is my most marked characteristic?

I consider myself as a hard working person who loves what she does,and never gives up,even when it seems that everything is lost. Even in the hardest occasions. My work is all I have,I just can’t give up.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

Sometimes I used to go to some coffee shops to draw,but I always prefer my workspace in my little apartment.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

What books influenced my life and how?

The book Demian by Hermann Hesse. I learned a lot,I felt identified,it marked my life,I read it when I was 15. It was very important to me, It is.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

I have no idea. Maybe some Machinae Supremacy,Dio,Judas Priest,Stratovarius,69 eyes…Because these bands marked me during my childhood and teenage years. And of course, now in my adulthood.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Max Demian from Hermann Hesse’s book “Demian”. Nana Osaki from “Nana” anime/manga. Mulan from Disney’s movie. Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

My parents, they were and are very supportive in what I do. And when I was studying drawing and comic classes, when I was 12 until 17 years old, my teacher Roberto. And of course, all the artists I admire.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?

The Crow.

 What role plays art in my life and work?

Everything.

 What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?

I want and I need to tell my stories and ideas through my comics.

 Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

That would be my boyfriend, my life partner. He supports me all the time.

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2020? 

I would love to start working in the comic industry,in the biggest companies such as Dark Horse, DC/Vertigo, IDW publishing, Boom studios, Titan comics, Image comics and also European companies like Editions Delcourt and much more.

Which people in my profession who can make a real difference in my creative career would i love to meet in 2020? 

Well,of course I would love to meet the artists I mentioned above, but due to the actual global situation,I believe this year is going to be difficult.

What project, in 2020, am I looking forward to work on?

My personal comic book.

The Heroine’s Journey Coaching online sessions last 50 minutes and the fee is Euro 189 excluding VAT per session. The Heroine’s Journey Coaching is suitable for people at any stage in their career.

Should I choose 1:1 coaching?

Our The Heroine’s Journey experiences in world cities allow you to learn not only from the coach but also from your peers. For the small group coaching (1 – 4 people), we have selected important, relevant topics that we find regularly come up for creative professional: purpose, storytelling, creative confidence, self promotion, time & money and resilience.

If you would prefer to work alone or on a different topic, individual coaching is a better fit for you.

What language do we speak in the coaching sessions?

English.

Can I buy coaching for my organization?

Yes, you can! We support many organizations around the world with their coaching needs. Please contact us for more information.

Can I bring my own topics?

Yes, for individual coaching you get to choose your own topic.

Are coaching sessions confidential?

Yes. Peter will not share anything that is discussed in the coaching sessions.

Where will the coaching sessions take place?

Sessions will take place online (as per the times we live in) via an online tool like Zoom or Skype. Peter will let you know.

How do I book and reschedule sessions?

Individual coaching sessions can be postponed up to one week before the session.
