What is the best thing that I love about my work? 

Creating endless worlds

What is my idea of happiness? 

Feeling good with myself, being successful in my job, being surrounded by my loved ones, living in an inspiring place. 

What is my greatest fear? 

Getting to the end of my life and thinking that my life has been worthless.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? 

Being inconstant

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? 

Luckily there are many talents, I discover new amazing artists everyday.

What is my greatest extravagance? 

I think my contrasts, both in my personality and in my work: I can do a project in an obituary and then a project in a brothel and I’m totally comfortable in both situations.

On what occasion would I lie?

I’m very bad at lying.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? 

I hate that the profession of a photographer is not respected. People would never ask an electrician or a seller to work for free for visibility, for example.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? 

Every time I do a photo shoot I’m in my happy place. I can be sad, tired, sick, but when I’m taking pictures for my projects, I feel very good.

If I could, what would I change about myself? 

I wish I had more energy, and I’d like to be kinder to myself and less upset.

What is my greatest achievement in work? 

Having a signature. But I still have to achieve all my goals.

Where would I most like to live? 

In a city near a lake or sea, surrounded by nature but not too far from a city full of art and good creativity.

What is my most treasured possession? 

My pain.

What is my most marked characteristic? 

Being empathetic.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? 

The mood of the city, people, social dynamics, the decadence. 

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? 

I live near the sea, so my perfect spot is a bar by the sea, especially when a storm is coming: you feel the scent of the sea, the rain, the sky and the sea have a stupendous leaden color, and everything is full of energy.

What books influenced my life and how?

The works of Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe, Goethe and Baudelaire shaped my aesthetic and my temperament. Chuck Palahniuk influenced me a lot with his communication made of flashes, short sentences that seem movie’ frames. Georges Simenon with his hard novels perfectly investigates the dark areas of human and social dynamics.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? 

A compilation of all the songs that make the soundtrack of my entire life.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? 

Jessica Fletcher.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? 

All people fighting for their dreams. 

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? 

I love movies, so I have a lot to recommend, but I would say the filmography of Ingmar Bergman, Yorgos Lanthimos and Gaspar Noé.

What role plays art in my life and work? 

It’s everything. My inspiration, my happiness, my nourishment.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ mean to me? 

That every second our story is created of our choices, who we meet, who we choose. But I also believe in destiny.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? 

My beloved ones.
