What is the best thing that I love about my work?

In all the jobs I did (Captain – Chief Engineer of a ship – Fleet Superintendent – Surveyor – Acting), the things I loved were the challenges and the fact it was a way to meet people from all around the world.

It allowed me to have my thoughts all the time in action. 

I am passionate about learning about people.

Today, I prefer to have two jobs one in parallel of passing castings to not let my thirst for learning dominate me!

I am currently working as a marine surveyor.

But acting stays my priority and is the opportunity to be an infinity of characters!

It is also a way to know ourselves better. 

With hard work, we can access our deepest feelings.

The story of characters through time makes us realize also our life conditions.

It can also be a political journey to be an ambassador of a different kind of cause: for me, it would be the protection of our biodiversity.

What is my idea of happiness?

To be free and coherent with me!

Be with my partner and my dog and share every second of my life with them.

To be connected to nature and animals all the time.

Ride in the bush with a horse.

Practice meditation and martial arts.

To help people around me.

To train me to the piano and sing at night with a glass of red wine!

To eat in a beautiful restaurant.

To never stop learning.

What is my greatest fear?

I am afraid to be well known because I am a straight person and I know that if I have a live interview, I will say exactly what I am thinking. 

And I know how hard the media can be sometimes, but as an actress, working with media is a truism!

So, both have to be respectful to each other!

And I am also afraid of not being able to translate my jokes into English! 🙂

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

The fact I can’t stop thinking about all sorts of things.

Cross Paris barefoot because my new shoes hurt me.

On what occasion would I lie?

A surprise for a friend!

I am not a good liar, and I don’t like that at all.

I think there is always a way to explain a hard situation to others.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

To be naked on screen.

I think being an actress doesn’t mean to give all our bodies to the screen.

I think there were too many scenes which showed naked men and women whereas it didn’t have to be shown.

To be honest I love when things are only suggested and let the spectators create his/her thoughts.

I often remarked that it showed a lack of scenarios or scripts.

But of course, I know that sometimes, it cannot be avoided because it’s relevant for the storytelling.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I am always happy for being here, doing what I love in parallel to another job until a big opportunity pops up.

I will be of course very happy if I succeed in my objectives but the most important things for me are travel and improving myself in all the trajectories that I take.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

The length of my hair! 

I made the mistake of cutting them one day and it takes time to grow. 

What is my greatest achievement in work?

When the public will be conquered by my acting!

Where would I most like to live?

In the South of France / Italy / Islands with Sun!

I need sun and sea!

What is my most treasured possession?

My partner’s and my dog’s love.

What is my most marked characteristic?

I laugh all the time, especially during weird situations when I am not supposed to… It’s the worst.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

The Forest.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

In my city, I prefer to be at home and cook!

But if I had to choose restaurants La Pinède in CAP D’AIL or the restaurant of LE GRAND HOTEL of SAINT JEAN CAP FERRAT, both, in the South of FRANCE.

What books influenced my life and how?

THE ALCHEMIST of Paolo COELHO because this book is based on a dream that leads to self-discovery and openness to the world.

And in this dream, other dreams are created, suggesting that dreams are infinite and delight us when they come true.

It’s a hymn to the relativization of life and its possibilities.

Today, I see many great people continually thinking negatively, certainly because of the geopolitical and environmental conjunctures in the world and the media who decide to insist on it.

But it is up to us alone to see the positive even in a negative situation!

Life is not simple, but it can be beautiful if we decide that it is!

ATLANTIS of David GIBBINS because I am a big fan, certainly like many people, of Greco-Egyptian Antiquity!

And as a former sailor, this book made me dream!

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen to on my last day?

Not particularly one but one of HANS ZIMMER or AUDIOMACHINE!

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Hilary SWANK in AWAY and Catherine BELL in JAG.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

Nelson MANDELA – President Barack OBAMA – Martin LUTHER KING – Simone WEIL – Leonardo DI CAPRIO and all people who defend all kinds of equality and biodiversity.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime?

THE ABYSS because it showed us that we are small on the Earth, and we have still so many things to discover in the ocean and the planet’s core!

What role-play stories in my life and work?

A lot! 

I’m quite idealistic but don’t lose sight of reality and I think playing helps me to dream more!

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life to me?

I think this has a true meaning, you can, and you should forge the life you expect to live.

If I succeed in acting, I will be the living proof I am the storyteller of my own life.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?

I love that expression because I can’t see life without passion!

I am a passionate person in all things I do: my work, in love, with my friends, with the biodiversity, …

I am passionate when I am training martial arts, singing, piano, and horse riding!

And I think if I succeed in this work, I hope to use my passion to change the mentality about our planet and come back to a more respectful behavior about everything and living beings.
