What is the best thing that I love about my work? The best thing that I love about my work is the fact that I can decide whenever I want to work or not. As I am an artist, I can decide on my own schedule. If I want to paint 10 hours straight and then not work for three days, it’s my choice.

What is my idea of happiness? My lover next to me, me painting, a sense of peace inside of me.

What is my greatest fear? Being forgotten.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Being antisocial.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Viviane Sassen, George Sand, Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Marie Uguay, Peter Doig, Kenta Kobayashi, Gerhard Richter, to name a few.

What is my greatest extravagance? Peanut butter

On what occasion would I lie? To protect my loved ones and myself.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Competition.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? When I went to Milano to work as a photographer for Tobias Putrih at the Prada Foundation. Moreover, when I exhibited in Zagreb and an orchestra came into the gallery and started to play music. And when I received the 2021 Picto Prize for Fashion Photography Dotation Filippo Roversi.

If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to be more social and learn how to cook

What is my greatest achievement in work? Being able to continue even in the hardest times.

Where would I most like to live? In a castle with velvet sofas and books everywhere

What is my most treasured possession? My artistic talent and my curiosity.

What is my most marked characteristic? I’m very curious and always like to learn new things

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I find this neighboorhood called « Les Grottes » in Geneva always very inspiring since it’s very communautary, a hub for artists. People drink at bars and exchange interesting toughts. There’s also some musicians playing outside

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? My favorite place for a drink is Bongo Joe records, a cafe, record label and vynil shop. My favorite place to eat is a restaurant called LE CAFE DE L’AMITIE in Eaux-vives.

There’s is a really nice atmosphere and the food is delicious.

What books influenced my life and how? My favorite book is called « Elle & Lui » from George Sand. I read it when i was a teenager and it changed my life in many different ways.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? The Velvet Underground

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? I love Mulan from the disney movie. I find her very brave.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? David Bowie, Julia Roberts, Winona Ryder, Kate moss, Amélie Nothomb, among many others

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Natural born killers

What role play stories in my life and work? Stories always played a big role in my life and work. Myths and tales mostly.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? You are in charge of everything that happens to you

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My hushband Sacha Antonov is my biggest fan and also my partner in crime.

He’s the shoulder I can lean on.

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2022? Big museums such as MOMA, Stedelijk museum, Foam museum, among others.

What project, in 2022, am I looking forward to work on? I started to collaborate with a gallery in Tokyo and I hope we will continue to work together on new exhibitions. Moreover, in the context of the Picto fashion photography award 2021, I will work with Paolo Roversi for a day. I’m really looking forward to that !

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? If you are passionate about something, it will always be inside of you until you die.
