What is the best thing that I love about my work?

I love when I inspire others or when somebody says that my colorful paintings make them happy.

What is my idea of happiness?

Happiness is not a destination, a job, a marriage, a pet…. Happiness is a decision. It is within us all the time. We just have to bring it out to the surface and BE happy.

What is my greatest fear?

My greatest fear are the consequences of human beings cruelty and violence against each others, animals, the planet.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I am satisfied with my strengths and flaws. 

If I really have to mention something it´s maybe my lack of patience that wakes up a crazy spontaneity in me and make me do crazy things sometimes 

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

I´ve been thinking and thinking about this question and have to say that I don´t have any specific person that I admire. I have many wonderful colleagues and artist friends that I think are great creators.

I give all my admiration to things the hands of a human cannot create. This beautiful planet for example. I can stay admiring the moon, the sea, the stars for hours! 

What is my greatest extravagance?

Probably all the unnecessary money I spend buying art supplies.

On what occasion would I lie?

I would do it to protect my loved ones.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Absolutely nothing. I am grateful to be an artist.

Well, if I really have to mention 1 thing is packing paintings to send them by courier 

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I have always been happy where I am. I try to live everyday at my fullest and be happy where I am every single day.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I wouldn´t be so perfectionist. It would be nice to care a little less on how things look like at home. For example I spent to much time fixing the pillows on the sofa 

What is my greatest achievement in work?

My greatest achievement in my artistic career is where I am right now. I have a full-time job that I love. I paint when I come home from work, take care of my website, my online shop, in 2 years I have managed to grow my IG account posting consistently and connecting every day to my tribe. I am trully happy and grateful for where I am right now.

Where would I most like to live?

I love where I live now but if I had to choose another place it would be Paris or a very small city in Italy.

What is my most treasured possession?

My 3 sons.

What is my most marked characteristic?

I laugh a lot.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

The sea.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

At home. I love to eat a good meal in our terrace.

What books influenced my life and how?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.  It made me belive that we can make our dreams come true.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

I would love to listen to the waves of the sea on a beach. That would be just perfect.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Remedios the beautiful from 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? 

My parents. They are generous, loving, kind. Always helping others without waiting something in return. They have been married for more than 60 years! A real testimony of love and commitment.

My heroine is my best friend Nancy. She is the bravest, funniest, persevering and positive person I know.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime?

La Vie est Belle by Roberto Benigni. I just loved that film.

What role play stories in my life and work?

Stories always inspire me. No matter what kind of story / film / book I get in to is like I transport myself to that place and I become am a part of it. 

Stories give me strength and help me to dream big. 

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ mean to me?

It tells me that I am the master of my very own life.  Nobody on the entire planet can write my story. I am the creator of my future.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

My friend Nancy. No matter how crazy the idea I have is, she would celebrate it and encourage me to go for it!

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2022?

I would love to work with my favorite supplies brands like GOLDEN Artist Colors, AMSTERDAM Acrylics or SENNELIER Oil Pastels (I am addicted to them)

What project, in 2022, am I looking forward to work on? I have a few upcoming exhibitions in Italy. I can´t wait to attend to the opening of my first tri-personal exhibition.

One of my biggest projects right now is to redo my studio completely.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?

When we are passionate about something, for example painting, dancing, cooking, we have that passion in our DNA. We will always enjoy doing that thing we love and if we are not able to do it, we miss it like hell
