The Heroine’s Journey of Tatiana Bevis

What is the best thing that I love about my work?

What I like the most in my work is my freedom of expression, because my creativity is a form of expression!! I like to be able to live it fully.

What is my idea of happiness?

Happiness like everything else is ephemeral, and in my opinion the pleasure is in the moment that is imprinted in our memories.

That’s happiness to me! just a state that passes but prints…

Jean Paul Gaultier!!

He is one of the rare creators to offer us a different view of Fashion…

Non-conformist! his creations are in his image, between classic couture and a fantasy world, quirky and sexy at the same time!!

he once said: “I stand for one thing: Do not be ashamed of your difference”

Lying out of greed… Because I couldn’t resist a good black forest with an excess of whipped cream!

but I confess I do not know how to lie, it will be seen in my fleeting gaze!

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Nothing!! perfection does not exist, we do not choose to come into the world, neither its color, nor its sex!!

we become what we are by the force of things, our experiences, our experiences with the world around us, and we must learn to love each other and grow every day

What is my greatest achievement in work?

To have been at the end of my child’s dream!!

everyone who knows me, saw me from a very young age with my pencils, my sketches on the benches of the playgrounds… It was my dream of my native Guadeloupe to become ‘Stylist and make a fashion show in Paris ‘

“Lullaby” a novel by J.M.G Le Clézio that marked my adolescence!

It’s the story of a young girl named Lullaby, who one day decides to leave high school to take a salty-tasting walk, the taste of solitude, to find her essentials!

As a teenager myself at that time, I let myself be carried away by his emotions, the illustrations of the book, between shadow and light…I found it soothing, I who already dreamed of escape…

I loved this book and will read it again for fun.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

The sound of the wind in the trees, the melody of the birds, that of the flowing river… or the lapping of the waves… We only die once and like the day we are born, we don’t choose it…

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Annalise Keating in “How to Get Away With Murder”

All its men and women who fight against the disease, or who fight to offer the best, a roof, a future to their child without the help of anyone!!!

the most beautiful fights are sometimes behind the door right next to us!!!

All its people despite their handicap achieve exploits and set an example!!

but if I had to cite an inspiring personality for me, I would choose “Oprah Winfrey”, a woman of influence, a woman of heart who is involved in the cause of child victims of abuse and mistreatment

And my creativity feeds on my emotions…

I also need daydreams to feed my imagination!!

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?

Simply that everyone is master of his destiny and that his future depends only on him!

It is our responsibility and that of no one else as the Dalai Lama Tenzi Gyatso said so well!!

Me, I made the choice to be an actor in my life,

My daughter Océane!!

She’s the first to follow me in my creative madness…
