What is the best thing that I love about my work?
I love making a difference in other people’s lives, it gives me great joy to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. I love the creative freedom process, visualizing an idea then watching it gently unfold. When I am writing an article for Golden State Life and Style the publication, I co-founded I draw inspiration from my surroundings. If I am deep in the beauty world as a beauty editor or co-founder of Seren Apothecary, I love being inspired by the people I meet daily.
What is my idea of happiness?
To always be in an open state mind to keep learning and educating myself on a broad range of topics.
What is my greatest fear?
I try to keep my fears in check, so they don’t hold me back in my life. If you let fear overtake you, you can miss out on some of the most beautiful things in life.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
I would have to say that at times I can be stubborn, it’s a character trait I need to work on.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
I admire all the people that continually give back in the world whether its through education, inspiration or innovation.
What is my greatest extravagance?
My beautiful Reining horses Eddie he is quarter horse that is trained to be a high-level athlete, we have competed in many horse competitions in America.
On what occasion would I lie?
To save a family member.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I truly love my work but sometimes the process from start to finish takes longer than I would like.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
When I am collaborating with a team of likeminded colleagues and we feel inspired, excited and creative.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
Nothing! I would not change anything about myself. If I continue to grow as a human and always have love in my heart and be the best version of myself, I can be.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
Seeing my work come to life. It starts with a thought and turns into reality.
Where would I most like to live?
I live in Ojai California which some consider to be an energy vortex, it’s a quaint town with an incredible sense of community. I also love Santa Barbara which is only 45 minutes away for its huge array of restaurants, concerts and beautiful hiking trails.
What is my most treasured possession?
My ability to have amazing intuition, it guides me daily through my life. One of the greatest challenges in life is learning to listen to your intuition, it’s your compass.
What is my most marked characteristic?
My uniqueness, I have always dressed and lived accordingly to my personal preference. I believe in being a leader not a follower.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
A place where there is a sense of community, love, respect, art and joy.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?
I love to get coffee from Java & Joe they have specialty coffee, tea and gifts. It has a beautiful sense of community.

Way of The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman to me it is a life changing book that blends fact with fiction.

My mother and my daughter two very strong women, that I admire deeply.

Like Water For Chocolate which is an incredible movie based off the novel by Laura Esquivel.
What role play stories in my life and work?
The role of a strong woman, a role that has tested my resilience over years. I learned from an early age that strength is a quiet, steady fire that keeps you moving forward and for every setback I have had in my life it has made me push through to accomplish more.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?
Our thoughts become our reality, we have amazing opportunities in life to create what we deeply desire, sometimes the path is not as clear at times but when the sun shines down you realize that everything works out for a reason.

My daughter Lilly who inspires me daily, a mother daughter bond is like no other.
