What is the best thing that I love about my work? It never gets boring. I get to explore new aspects of myself, of the people I work with and of the world, in every new production. I can say I get to know myself better in every artistic research. But what I love most is that feeling I have when I am dancing, that I am living the most important moment in my life, like nothing else really exists, all that really matters is moving and feeling the contact with the air, the floor, or other bodies…
What is my idea of perfect happiness? To me happiness is finding what you love and dedicating your whole self to it.
What is my greatest fear? Fear of the dark (horror movies to blame)! Hahah, actually I am afraid of loneliness, of not being understood… I don’t mean I necessarily need a lot of people around me, just one is good if the connection is real.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I used to be very insecure about myself, but I have tried to change that and I am building confidence and self-esteem day by day. I have felt much better lately!
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? I have many artists whose work I admire but generally speaking I truly respect those who were able to build something starting from zero, by themselves, thanks to hard work and determination.
What is my greatest extravagance? Earrings! Also my hairstyle, which I change quite often…
On what occasion would I lie? I try to avoid lying as much as possible and if I don’t have anything good to say I prefer not to talk at all, but I have said some white lies every now and then to comfort somebody…
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The instability of it, but that’s also what makes it so exciting…
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I was very happy two years ago when I had a three-week trip in China, for a dance training program, which finalized with a performance. It’s the furthest I have ever been from home, with people I didn’t know before… I felt like traveling to another planet.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I am happy to say I have learned to accept and appreciate myself the way I am, with my little mission of trying to be a better person every day and making people feel comfortable when they are around me.
What is my greatest achievement in work? I am still at the beginnings of my artistic career, but I am pretty happy with all my achievements so far. The greatest one though, is having the opportunity to work with Cie Linga (Switzerland) in the next few weeks.

What is my most marked characteristic? I smile a lot and I am quite a positive person…
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The studio where I have been training and working for the last 4 years, at the University of Arts… those walls have been testimony of my growth and I always get a special feeling when I walk in there after long breaks.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? “Blloku” is the most frequented area in Tirana, known for its bars and restaurants. It is also very near to my house, so it’s a part of my daily routine to go there and grab a drink or something to eat with friends.
What books influenced my life and how? Reading “1984” by George Orwell was a life experience. Living in a country with a dictatorial past it made me appreciate the relative freedom we live in (saying relative because I believe absolute freedom is not possible to achieve). Also “A man” by journalist Oriana Fallaci, was a great inspiration to keep my ideals alive.
Who are my favorite writers? George Orwell, Oriana Fallaci, Albanian writer Migjeni, etc.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? My favourite band Arctic Monkeys and “Sarajevo” by Max Richter… leaves me breathless!

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Every person who keeps a positive outlook in life, even living in such a crazy world. Every person who chooses to be led by kindness and honesty.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? There are a few actually… “Captain Fantastic”, “Arrival” are two of the most recent movies that have really made me think. Also, I don’t usually watch a movie more than once, but I have watched “Youth” by Paolo Sorrentino a few times, and I consider it to be the definition of Beauty in cinema. Still the movie that has really changed me and the way I see things since when I watched it is “Eyes Wide Shut” by genius Stanley Kubrick.
What role plays art in my life and work? I can’t imagine my life without art anymore… it makes me feel alive.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? I think passion is what makes us human and what makes our lives worth living.
Which creative heroines should Peter invite to tell their story? Katharina Maschenka Horn, dancer and choreographer from Germany.
