What is the best thing that I love about my work? To be able to dedicate space to creativity, to travel, to establish meaningful connections with people.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Instability.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? In Lecce. It was a project during my education. And in Florence during the rehearsals of a Festival called Intercity.

If I could, what would I change about myself? My melancholic tendency.

What is my greatest achievement in work? To be able to keep working!

Where would I most like to live? New York.

What is my most treasured possession? Honesty.

What is my most marked characteristic? Irony.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The city center, walking through its historical buildings and admiring their beauty.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? Biolento. Tuscanative.

What books influenced my life and how? L’isola di Arturo by Elsa Morante. Lessico familiare by Natalia Ginsburg. Il giovane Holden by J.D. Salinger, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, L’insostenibile leggerezza dell’essere by Milan Kundera… each represents a world that opened my vision and reflections, in a different way each time.

Who are my favorite writers? Dostoevskij, Calvino…

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Taro di Alt-j.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Eleven from Stranger Things or Rachel from Blade Runner.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? My two grandmas. Giulia and Amelia. Two very different women, both really courageous, strong, independent.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? 8 and 1/2 by Federico Fellini.

What role plays art in my life and work? It’s hard to tell. Art is my whole life and my job.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My determination.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? Quoting J. Hillman: “A vocation can be postponed, evaded, lost at times. Or it can completely possess us. It doesn’t matter: it will rise sometimes. The daimon can’t abandon us.”
