The Heroine’s Journey of Valentina Turchetti

What is the best thing that I love about my work?

Every day is different from the other one: there are some repetitive tasks of course, but you have to be flexible, to learn something new every day, you have to study new things every day.

Also, what I like most if the opportunity to work everywhere: I just need a laptop and a wifi connection.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

For me happiness is time for yourself and people you love. Real happiness is the luxury to organize your work in order to take time for yourself, go out with your kids or eat an icecream during hours in which people normally work. For example, I can decide to take a morning out with Emma, my almost 19-months old daughter instead of working: of course I know that I have to organize my job very well, but happiness is I CAN DECIDE.

What is my greatest fear?

My greatest fear is disease: my grandmother died of cancer, so I know what it means for who has this disease but also for people around him/her.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

Impatience: I don’t have patience. I have to do everything quickly.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

My husband for sure: he’s a computer engineer and started working while he was studying at the university. Then, he immediately found a job in a big Company but he suddenly realized he wanted to be an entrepreneur, so, during the nights, he studied everything about SEO and Digital Marketing and, after some time, he left his job and became, day after day, a SEO Specialist, speaker and author of some Italian best-sellers about the Search Engine Optimization.

What is my greatest extravagance?

Take time for myself going to the gym, eating a chocolate in front of TV, doing my nails, doing online shopping.

On what occasion would I lie?

I wouldn’t lie, especially with my daughter, even if it would be a negative situation, I will never lie. I think truth is always the best solution.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

People who think to be experts but they’re not: they destroy the Digital Marketing landscape.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

Every day: I literally love what I do. I think that the best decision I ever made was to leave my job and became a Digital entrepreneur.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I’m touchy and impatient, thus I would change these two aspects of myself.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

Create one of the (or THE) biggest International event about Digital Marketing and Online Business in Italy, but also the writing of two books (and I’m thinking about writing the third one).

Where would I most like to live?

New York: I love this city and I hope to live there for some months, maybe when my daughter will be older.

What is my most treasured possession?

My daughter

What is my most marked characteristic?

Determination

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

The street on the Po river: I like walking here to relax my mind and find inspiration for new business ideas

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

Nothing: I live in a very small city, but I love Starbucks.

What books influenced my life and how?

The Miracle Morning: I tried to wake up at 5 am for a short time and I found it so useful for working.

Who are my favorite writers?

Jane Austen and Dante Alighieri

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

Dirty Dancing all songs

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Ariel “The Mermaid” (Walt Disney)

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

My parents

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?

Dirty Dancing

What role plays art in my life and work?

I studied art at high school and I appreciate it a lot but it isn’t so present in my life

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

My husband, Marco

Whom would I like to work with in 2020?

My husband (we already work together)

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2020?

Motivational and Business Coaches and Affiliate Marketers

What project, in 2020, am I looking forward to work on?

The new website of YourDigitalWeb and its release in English and some affiliation marketing projects

Where can you see me or my work in 2020?

For sure at the Marketing Business Summit: www.mbsummit.com

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
