What is the best thing that I love about my work?

The best thing is to enter into the life of someone else and that trust and connection is a very unique and powerful experience.

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

Perfect happiness is to contribute to humanity and leave a legacy that others will reap benefits from in the future.

What is my greatest fear?

That my life has not made such contribution (see prior answer)

Over analytical

What is my greatest extravagance?

Hats

On what occasion would I lie?

Not sure there is an occasion for lying. I might omit to say if saying the truth may hurt a person. However, I would rather say the truth than not saying it.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Probably those moments when after having spent hours on editing I realise that I have more hours ahead!

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I was the happiest working in South West China when I was working on a project to expose the exploitation of coal miners in illegal mines.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

My height…just a few centimeters up! Jokes apart, at times I beat myself for not being more confident.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

Collaborating with Amnesty International on the Hate Hurts project both in Greece and currently in Hungary with a large scale nationwide photo campaign to raise awareness on structural violence against refugees.

Where would I most like to live?

Good question. I don’t have a particular place in mind. I like to move around and live in different places. I have not found yet a place which definitely is the one that I like the most to live in.

What is my most treasured possession?

Love

What is my most marked characteristic?

Determination, goal oriented, inspirational, easily adaptable to new places, people and communities.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

Probably London South Bank.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

I tend to like theatre spaces. The Bush Theatre is one of my

favourite.

What books influenced my life and how?

John Pilger’s Hidden Agenda, John Berger’s A Seventh Man, Jordan T. Camp and Christina Heatherton ‘Policing the Planet’, Paulo Coelho. I admire the writers undenialable quest for justice and investigation. John Berger’s book A Seventh Man is an extraordinary book on migration and the humanity behind it. I enjoy Paulo Coelho’s book because they remind me of how much one has to live life following your call.

John Pilger, John Berger, Liz Fekete, Deepak Chopra.

This would really depend on what is my favourite music then.

Elphaba

Stefanie Sinclair, my mother.

A great role… I used to paint full time. I still do whenever I can.
