What is my idea of happiness? La mia idea di felicità è bere un bicchiere di vino in riva al mare, con le persone che amo. Drink a glass of wine by the sea, with the people I love.

What is my greatest fear? La mia più grande paura è non godere a pieno del tempo di cui dispongo. Non amare abbastanza. Non credere in qualcosa. Do not fully enjoy the time I have. Do not love enough. Do not believe in anything.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Sono una perfezionista, qualsiasi cosa io faccia nella mia testa risulta incompleta. I’m a perfectionist, whatever I do in my head remains incomplete.

Which living person in my profession do I most admire? A prescindere dalla notorietà che un’artista occupa nel mondo dell’arte, ammiro le persone che non si
arrendono mai, chi muove qualcosa attraverso un dialogo continuo con gli altri e le cose.

What is my greatest extravagance? La mia più grande stravaganza probabilmente è quella di non aver mai perso la fantasia. Ieri ho trasformato il mio gatto in un unicorno.

What is my greatest achievement in work? Il più grande successo è quello di potermi esprimere liberamente. Usare ciò di cui dispongo per dar forma a qualcosa di praticamente inutile, ma estremamente necessario. My greatest success is to be able to express myself freely. Use what I have to form something practically useless, but extremely necessary.

Where would I most like to live? Mi piacerebbe una casa in mezzo al verde in cui poter reimparare un’educazione elementare delle cose utili. Un luogo in cui saper distinguere le gradazioni di verde in base alla conoscenza delle varie specie di piante; il rosso della terra e la possibilità di sperimentare nuove argille che non conosco ancora. I would like a house in the countryside, where I could learn a basic education of useful thing. A place where you can distinguish the shades of green according to the knowledge of the various species of plants; the red of the earth is the chance to experience new clays that I do not know yet.

What is my most treasured possession? La più grande ricchezza che possiedo è la libertà di scelta. Freedom of choice.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Taranto, la mia città d’origine, si divide in città vecchia e città nuova. Ricca di contrasti, contiene una pluralità di condizioni con la quale è difficile instaurare un rapporto sereno. Paragono sempre le due ad una relazione madre|figlia, in cui riconosciamo una figlia poco devota alla propria madre. Forte, magica, a volte inabitabile. Tutto è fonte di riflessione, molti dei miei progetti partono da Taranto, molti abitano Taranto. Taranto, my city of origin, is divided into old and new cities. Rich in contrasts, contains a plurality of elements with which it is difficult to establish a serene relationship. I always compare the two cities to a mother-daughter relationship, in which we recognize a daughter not devoted to her mother. Strong, magical, sometimes uninhabitable. What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? Non c’è un solo luogo della mia città in cui amo mangiare o bere. Sicuramente tutti i luoghi vicino al mare, ci sono molti posti in cui poter godere di uno splendido tramonto ascoltando buona musica.

What books influenced my life and how? Non prediligo un genere letterale, amo tutto ciò che è sensibile. Posso dirti che fino a ieri leggevo un libro di Joseph Beuys Difesa della natura, oggi Favole di Jean de La Fontaine. I don’t favor a literal genre, I love anything that is sensitive. I can tell you that until yesterday I was reading a book of Joseph Beuys Difesa della natura, today Fables choisies mises en vers of Jean de La Fontaine.

What do the words ‘you are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? Essere il narratore della mia vita sarebbe come raccontare una storia ascoltata in italiano scritta in inglese e letta in francese, alcune cose le perdi durante il racconto altre le enfatizzi. Would be like telling a story heard in Italian written in English and read in French, some things you lose others emphasizes.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? La mia famiglia, il mio fidanzato, i miei amici e chiunque creda in ciò che faccio. My family, my boyfriend, my friends and who belives in what I do.

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2020? Sto lavorando insieme ad altri nove ragazzi alla creazione di un nuovo collettivo: Studio Cave. Per ora non posso aggiungere altro, incrociamo le dita. I’m working with nine other guys to create a new collective: Studio Cave. For now I cannot add more, wish me luck.

Which people in my profession who can make a real difference in my creative career would i love to meet in 2020? La differenza viene fatta dalle persone che possono arricchirmi: vere, sincere, che affrontino una continua ricerca personale.
People who can enrich me: true, honest, who face a continuous personal search.

What project, in 2020, am I looking forward to work on? Se c’è qualcosa che risuona ancora più forte in questi mesi è la necessità di ridurre i nostri spazi. Tracciare nuovi itinerari, rifletterò su questo. It is important to reduce our spaces. Trace new routes.
