What is the best thing that I love about my work?

The best thing about my work is… To be able to use all the creativity and to give birth to all the ideas I have in my mind limitless!

What is my idea of happiness?

The word Happiness to me is equal to Joy. I personally think that it’s the sum of the most positive feelings. 

If I have to describe happiness in a situation that would be living in an abundance state doing what you love while you’re having good health, rounded by people who care about you.

What is my greatest fear?

Arrive at the end of my life and realize that I’ve not achieved the life of my dreams.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I deplore the lack of discipline I still have. Passion and motivation aren’t always enough that push you through achieving your goals.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?

At the moment, I have none. But I have many living persons in others sectors I really admire: as Oprah Winfrey, Quincy Jones, Tyler Perry, Steve Harvey… 

I think that to be successful you have to be a great human first, and to be a great human you have to take example from the right people. “Profession” is just a frame.

What is my greatest extravagance?

My way of thinking and seeing life!

On what occasion would I lie?

I only lie for good purposes. A good purpose for me is to take the best out of the people, me included!

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

The patience: when I don’t know how to create something and I have to find a way to make it real at any cost.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

When I had the opportunity to work for a huge brand with an important heritage. At the age of 20 years old I was working as a painter in one of the most famous luxury store in Via Montenapoleone in Milano.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I would improve my discipline and focus. I would change nothing of me, I know that I’m like this for one supreme reason.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

First of all, I make a distinction between results and achievements: for me “the greatest achievement” is constantly in evolution, it changes as I improve myself.

Where would I most like to live?

I’m italian and I can’t imagine a life without the italian food or the italian customs: italy will be the country I will live in, the exact location is still unknown to me!

What is my most treasured possession?

My friends and people who will not let me by myself in my darkest moment.

What is my most marked characteristic?

My curiosity.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

Currently I am still living in a small town. My most inspirational location is a place at the top of a hill next to my home. That hill is where I recharge my energies.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

Not in my city, but next to it there’s a town in the mountains which has a very pretty wooden restaurant. I love to eat pizza with friends of mine over there.

What books influenced my life and how?

“The law of attraction” of Esther and Jerry Hicks and “Ikigai” of Bettina Lemke. The first one helped me to perceive differently how life works, the other one changed the goals and visions that I had for accomplishing my dream life.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

The sound of the “I love you”s of the people I cared the most in my life.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

I don’t have one.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

Those who live their lives with authenticity and take a leap of faith to create the life of their dreams.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime?

All the documentaries about the greatest people in the world: “Quincy”, “I am Ali”, and many others!

What role play stories in my life and work?

It’s everything to me. All of us have a baggage of memories and emotions. We are all humans, even at work. I love to understand each person I meet, everyone has something to tell, good or bad. Empathy is the key to open up people.

What do the words “You are the storyteller of your own life” to me?

It means that I have ownership on the consequences of my life. It means that I have the power to create better situations.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

My greatest fan is a friend of mine. In Everything I do she always supports me  and believes in me.

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2021?

With Versace, Golden Goose, Fenty, Off-white… These are only a few names I would like to work with, for  2021 I think is enough! Ahaha

Which people in my profession who can make a real difference in my creative career would i love to meet in 2021?

I would like to meet italian entrepreneur Elisabetta Franchi, italian journalist Anna Dello Russo. Just to name a few, even though they’re not doing my same profession.

What project, in 2021, am I looking forward to work on?

I’m currently working and I will still work on my project “Sequences of Debora Sordello”.
