What is the best thing that I love about my work as an illustrator?

I adore turning simple things into something interesting. The illustrational world is a world of imagination. We can create our personal reality and plunge into it for some time.

What is my idea of happiness?

My idea of happiness is a life full of creative ideas, enjoying simple things and the beauty that surrounds us. If you can notice the beauty in simple things, you are a happy person!

What is my greatest fear?

My greatest fear is not to enjoy life to the full extent of one’s power. I’m afraid that I will not have time for everything that I want to see and to create. Life is too fast nowadays. We have a lot of doings and duties every day. And we may skip accidentally something important, we may forget about our purposes and dreams. That’s why I’m trying to keep life in balance.|

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

Sometimes I take things to heart. And I’m rather a self-critical person.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?

It’s difficult to answer exactly.

What is my greatest extravagance?

I adore buying books, materials for the craft/work, and handmade mugs.

On what occasion would I lie?

If I don’t want to hurt someone with my truth

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Inconstancy. When you are an independent artist you need to find projects yourself.

Sometimes it may take more time than expected. But it happens rarely.

Also, you are a boss for yourself and sometimes you have to be a very strict boss.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

I have no definite moments. I like all the way that I walked through.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I wish I could have more patience for my achievements and to be less self-critical.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

I think it is the books, which I illustrated. I’m proud that my illustrations will attract kids all over the world. And a part of my soul will live in these books forever.

Where would I most like to live?

In the place where the beauty will surround me. It may be the place near the forest and mountains. It would be adorable to have a sea or a lake near it also. But I also like the place of my current living. It’s a beautiful old town with magnificent architecture and history.

What is my most treasured possession?

I treasure freedom most of all

I’m optimist

The center of an old town. It has a lot of historic places with amazing architecture

Park, that I may reach on my scooter

I have a lot but the recent – “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One” by Dr. Joe Dispenza

For me, it’s about being myself and to achieve my goals despite the conditions of my life and the expectations of other people.
