What is the best thing that I love about my work?
Being An Artist Is A Great Privilege While At The Same Time A Great Responsibility.
Art allows me the freedom of expression, but it also imposes a tremendous responsibility, as through my art I can influence people, I can change them, their behaviour, their outlook on things, I can change the World. That is very powerful.
As an artist I can convey a very powerful message, I can uplift, intrigue, shock and make people cry.
How can I not love being an artist…?! It is so much fun, so interesting…new ideas, new art projects…
As a versatile artist working in different techniques and different art genres, I keep working on my own style(s), I keep improving, I constantly keep learning new things and evolving.
It is all so fascinating, never boring…That is why I love what I do.
What is my idea of happiness?
To be happy is to be content with oneself, in my opinion. Happiness is to be able to live one’s life the way one wants to with no regrets. Life throws us curve balls at times, but it is the way of handling such situations and challenges that defines our life’s happiness. Happiness is to be positive and optimistic, to love and be loved, to help out, contribute to society creating social wealth, social impact and social change, living life to the fullest.
What is my greatest fear?
My greatest fear is to age and lose the ability to create art due to an illness. I hope to never be faced with such a situation where I can no longer make art and therefore make an impact. It is possible for creative professionals to keep working till the very end. I really truly do hope that it will be the case with me.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
There isn’t a trait in myself that I deplore as I really do like myself and enjoy my own company. As an artist, I am quite an interesting individual, trust me…Being a perfectionist is sometimes burdersome. I have learnt to live with it and manage on a daily basis. Due to yoga and pilates as well as meditation I am doing much better now.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?
I admire the great artists of the past including Claude Monet, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Edward Munch, Jackson Pollock, Amadeo Modigliani, W. Hasior and S.I. Witkiewicz among many…
What is my greatest extravagance?
I really cannot think of anything that would be considered as my greatest extravagance…As an artist and a social entrepreneur at the same time, I am very resourceful, I use bricolage and effectuation strategies.
On what occasion would I lie?
I do consider myself a highly ethical individual, therefore, lying is something that I stay away from. It’s not in my vocabulary.
The only time I could lie, using a “white lie” would be to save someone’s life and/or to not hurt someone’s feelings.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
My work is fascinating, interesting, engaging and meaningful as I make others/society aware of how important and powerful art is. There is not one thing I could think of disliking in my work, except maybe an artist’s block which unfortunatelly occasionally does happen.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
I’m always happy at work when I make new art. It is the entire creative process that I enjoy.
I remember being extremely happy and excited when making “Guidance,” a beautiful piece for a group gallery exhibit that was displayed in hr. W. Zamoyski Gallery. This piece, with its own technique, is especially close to my heart as it represents home as the place where we belong, the family we are born into. Coming into this world, we are innocent (symbolism of the white fabric). During our lives we often follow confusing paths, many times we have to make difficult choices (symbolism of the wrinkled fabric structure). It is the home and the family that shape us, pass on their values and ideals to us, guiding us in the right direction while maintianing the layers of humanity.

If I could, what would I change about myself?
I really do like myself as an individual, as an artist. I am enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated, loyal, and have a strong work ethic. One thing I can think of changing about myself if I could, would be to not care so much as it becomes overwhelming at times…
What is my greatest achievement in work?
Each art piece I create is a great achievement to me as I take pride in what I am doing. I take my time and completely devote myself to each and single artwork I do. All the art pieces I have donated to non-for-profits and/or those in private collections now, I would have to consider as my greatest achievements.
Where would I most like to live?
I love traveling and I was fortunate enough that I have been able to do so throughout my life. I love visiting new places, living in foreign countries. That is where I get my inspiration to work.
To be honest I have not particularly thought about one place where I would most like to live. I am happy wherever I am and build my happiness there. One thing I know for sure is that I would love to retire with a sea or an ocean view. I could work on landscape paintings then…
What is my most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession is my talent which I keep exploring and working on everyday of my life. What books influenced my life and how?
“The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho and “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, have influenced my life from an early age on. “The Alchemist” has taught me that when one really wants something, the whole universe works to help him/her achieve it. “The Little Prince” on the other hand showed me how strong of a feeling we can develop for one another, once you befriend someone you become responsible for him/her, and that it is only with the heart that one can see rightly.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen to on my last day?

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
My heroes and heroines in real life are people that have overcome difficult life situations and/or struggles only to come back stronger and happier. Both men and women who have become successful despite the fact that life has not always been fair to them. People that never gave up on their dreams and desires, that remained loyal to their vision and mission. In becoming successful, they never forgot about others and never stopped contributing to society.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime?

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
I believe that to create one needs to find space for it, for what one wants to say, for how one wants to express it, in what art genre, in what style or technique. That takes time… Working in isolation helps me create meaningful and powerful art.
In my art, I focus on difficult topics that intrigue the viewer and make him/her think. I continually contribute to society through donating my artwork to non-for-profits spreading awareness of important and dear to me subject matters.
Therefore I do not have a partner in crime.
I also do not have a sponsor as most of my artwork is self-funded.
My greatest fans are private collectors who possess my art as well as my family and my friends.
Which people or companies would I like to work with ?
I like working with individual clients as well as corporations. I do commission work upon space planning consultation. It is a fun and engaging process.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?
In the creative profession, “Passion Never Retires,” indeed. And it shouldn’t. Otherwise there would be no point to keep on going. As an artist, one needs to have passion throughout his or her lifelong career. Passion for one’s work makes him or her not work a day in his or her lifetime. Passion makes it all worthwhile.
