What do I like most about my job? I seriously believe that people who dedicate themselves to art (in my case to music, I am a cellist) do not work at it, but live for it. What I like the most is to perform concerts. Not only to be able to share my interpretations with the public, but everything that comes with that moment. Choosing the programe, prepare it, getting to know halls, auditoriums, people, cities and new countries…
What is my idea of happiness? Well, this is very subjective. May be the absence of worries and impediments to achieve your goals in life.
What is my biggest fear? Losing my closest family and friends.
Which living person in my profession do I admire the most? My mother, she is a pianist. I admire her very much because thanks to her great ability and tenacity she has come very far. She has transmitted to me the most important thing is the daily work.

What is my greatest extravagance? I don’t know if it can be considered one, but I like to vary a lot with the colors of the dresses I wear to the concerts. I always choose according to the program or the piece to be performed.
On what occasion would I lie? Never. I find it a very unpleasant attitude.
What do I dislike most about my job? I love what I do, but it is very demanding! You can’t take many vacations… You have to work a lot!
When and where have I been happiest in my job? Whenever I am on a stage.
What is my greatest achievement at work? Having been able to play in the land of my parents and my whole family: Argentina. Last April I played as a soloist the Khachaturian concerto in E minor with the San Juan Symphony Orchestra at the Auditorio Juan Victoria, conducted by Maestro Wolfgang Wengenroth. It was incredible. Not only for doing it with professionals of the highest level (and in one of the best auditoriums in Latin America). But all my family could listen to me live. Because I live in Spain, this doesn ́t usually happen!
Where would I like to live? A few weeks ago, I was in Budapest at a festival, and I could highlight that there was a spectacular atmosphere, besides the concert. I felt very good. A beautiful city where I would live with no problem.
What is my most precious possession? My cello.
What is my most characteristic trait? I am a very self-demanding person, so everything I do I like to do it in the best possible way, but never losing my principles. This is very important, I think you should never lose your ethics and morals. I recently read a book called ‘Ethics in Business’ by John C. Maxwell, which said that in life you have to apply the golden law to everything:!not doing to others what you don’t want them to do to you”. It is sad to see people who, in order to take advantage, break this law and put their morals and ethics at stake. Maybe they achieve their goals but according to this book it doesn’t last forever… Putting my values first can sometimes play a trick on me in the moment, but usually in the long run it is not usually the case.

What is the place in my city that inspires me the most? The Prado Museum its my favourite, but I would say any art Museum.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink in my city? Honestly I would say my house, but any nice terrace in the sun where I can spend a nice time is more than enough for me.
What books have influenced my life and how? Several years ago I read Orwell’s Animal Farm, and since then I became interested in politics. I was also very influenced by Persepolis (a comic by M. Satrapi), which is about the Islamic revolution told by a little girl, and I think I must have been the same age as her when I read it. Seeing how many children had to go through very hard things when I was having a happy childhood, made me appreciate what I had. As a result, I read others like The Diary of Anne Frank, and then Sophie’s World…
You only die once, what music would I listen to on my last day? I would listen to Rachmaninoff’s Prelude No.5 by Nikolai Luganski, piano.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Without hesitation Doctor Who, what’s better than a Time Lord who helps others, and travel in space and time in a telephonic cabine?
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? My parents, of course!
Which film would you recommend to watch once in a lifetime?
Interstellar and Inception, by Christopher Nolan
What role do stories play in my life and work?
Stories are very important, especially in music. It’s always said that when interpreting you have to tell a story and it often helps to do it in relation to an analogy according to the structure of the piece, the harmony, the period. You have to use a little imagination!
What do the words “You are the narrator of your own life” say to me? You decide for yourself who you want to be. You see where you are and where you want to go, and you make a plan to get there. Then, of course, there are difficulties, but you always have to keep the goal in mind.

Who is my biggest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My father, he is not a musician, he is an engineer.
What project am I looking forward to working on? I would like to perform a benefit concert, in which I can reach many people, in order to raise as much as possible. I have done this type of performance a few times in the past, and it is very nice to do.
Where can you see me or my work? Through my social networks. Also, if you search for me on the internet, there are many articles and posters of concerts, contests and interviews.
