What is the best thing that I love about my work?

Acting in different roles provides me the opportunity to live different lives. Going through diverse characters in different life stories while I live my own life is an amazing experience. This part is the most interesting one for me while there are other appealing aspects as well.

What is my idea of happiness?

Happiness comes from inside, when we know ourselves and discover our inner treasure, when we learn that whatever happens to us has a lesson for our soul, when we learn we are all here to grow our soul and make this world a better place to live.

What is my greatest fear?

Fear comes when there’s no belief, life has its own challenges for everyone and some of them may bring this fear but exactly that’s the time when we need to be focused on our beliefs to release that feeling, faith instead of fear.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I’m grateful for all the aspects of my entity, there is a reason why I have those features.

On what occasion would I lie?

Lying means insulting the intelligence of the audience and totally the universe, it’s better to dare to tell the truth even if it seems not appealing, but behind the curtain it’s really more beneficial for the both sides to know the pure reality.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Some audiences doesn’t get that if I play a role, I do my profession which is acting, it’s not me, it’s my job . I acted in a film “Retakes” and had a scene of kissing another actress. After that some audience thought that I’m lesbian . I’m totally respect to all the sexual orientation but it’s not appealing to be treated like a lesbian while you are NOT.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

When there is professional environment without attitude, when there is a great story to work on, when the film has positive impact on the world.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I just try to be my best version of myself.

What is my greatest achievement in work?

The most greatest is when the movie I act in has a positive impact on the real world where the people who are filmed about live in that situation.

Where would I most like to live?

Los Angeles and fortunately I live there. And in terms of building, very high sky scraper with glass walls.

What is my most treasured possession?

My soul, I have a very old soul with many past lives.

What is my most marked characteristic?

It’s better to ask this from my friends, relatives and colleagues.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

I want to talk about the city where I was born, Esfahan, the cultural capital of Iran with so inspiring historical buildings and cultural heritage.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

I like Persian restaurants because it makes me feel at home, but I’m always looking for tasting food from other countries and go to Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Japanese restaurants as well.

What books influenced my life and how?

Long list.. but the one that came to my mind now is : 

The wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn, Four Complete Books . It talks about how whatever we feel or clearly imagine affects our semi-conscious mind and happens in detail in our life. 

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?

“Tanha dar baran” by “Hooman Rad”, Tanha dar baran in Farsi means Alone in the rain. We come to this world alone and leave it alone, between these two we experience lots of experiences which seem like rain to me.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

Myself, it’s not just about me in my life, everyone is her/ his hero in their life, just look at your journey in your life, then you will learn how you are a hero in every single moment.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?

Again there is a long list but I want to talk about the first one which came to my mind: “Babel” and the prominent part of it for me is showing the butterfly effect.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?

We are the director and star of our life but the producer is the universe. So whatever universe gives us is the subtext, I mean determinism and free will.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?

My sister and friends.

Which people or companies would I like to work with ?

I’m open to the natural way that my career goes through. Of course there’s is a long list of superb directors but I want to trust the plan that universe has already made for me.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me?

If you have a passion to do something, before that you are gifted the talent and ability of doing it, and even further before all of these, the universe has chosen you to do that, your Darma in this world.
