What is the best thing that I love about my work? I have freedom to pursue my heart’s desire. It is a privilege to use your God given abilities as your full-time job. Through my work I get to connect with people – not just with pleasantries and light conversation but on a deeper, more personal level.
What is my idea of happiness? An inspired, uninterrupted day in the studio with a good audio book or music. Spending time with my family.
What is my greatest fear? Not living up to my potential and purpose.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Time wasting.

What is my greatest extravagance? I take time out of my studio to be with my family. I want to be the one they call if they need anything.
On what occasion would I lie? To save someone from harm.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The inconsistency
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? 2019-2020 It was a very hard time in my life and I dealt with it in my work. I was prolific and expressive.
If I could, what would I change about myself? My self-talk – self criticism
What is my greatest achievement in work? I got to work with children who lived in very challenging situations. Being able to encourage and praise them was a gift I will never forget.
Where would I most like to live? Right where I am.
What is my most treasured possession? My photos
What is my most marked characteristic? I try to always be gracious.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The Museum of Fine Art or the Dali Museum
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? Massiomos
What books influenced my life and how? The bible has influenced every facet of my life.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Christian – Casting Crowns, Lauren Daigle, For King and Country, Blessing Offor, etc
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Sherlock Holmes
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Neonatal nurses and doctors. My precious grandbaby, Charlotte was very premature and lived in the neonatal unit for 85 days. They were so skilled at their jobs but even more impressive was the compassionate loving way they carried them out.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? It’s a wonderful Life. I watch it every year. The theme is so poignant and the acting is amazing.
What role do stories play in my life and work? I am an avid reader, audible book listener and watcher of stories. A good story can transport the listener and literally change their perspective. My art is the attempt to do just that. I want viewers to stop, take a breath and let the art connect with their mind and imagination.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? I have the ability make choices about what kind of person I will be. When difficult situations arise, how will I respond? With grace? With love or hatefulness? Will I persevere or lay down.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? I am fortunate, I have more than one. My husband has always supported me and loved me. He has given me the opportunity to really chase my dreams. He is my ride or die.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? I paint because I was made for it. I love it and need it to feel whole. Therefore, retirement is out of the question.
