The Heroine’s Journey of Paola Marchi

What is the best thing that I love about my work? The best thing I love about my work is the ability to engage observers and make them feel that they are part of a reality that unites us all.

What is my idea of happiness? happiness is a temporary state of being, a moment when a window to the unseen world and the creatures of light that inhabit it ,is opened. Happiness is both a right
and a duty, when we are happy we create an energy field of positivity that is transmitted all around and helps to feel better. That is why we have a duty to seek happiness, because through it we can help the creation of a better world.

What is my greatest fear? my greatest fear is being misunderstood and not be able to counter the progressive spiritual impoverishment of human beings

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I don’t know, I have learned with great effort to love myself and work in myself on the personality traits that don’t make me a better person. So I’ve learned to not deplorate anything of me and to change the aspect of my personality that are negative for my beloved and for me.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? There are many people I esteem, many have, however, left this earthly dimension, among the living, if I have to mention only one name, I mention the director Marco Poma, I esteem him for the career he has made and for always remaining true to the purity within. Marco Poma is a great Italian avant-garde director who struggles with a very spiritually degenerate world and bears upon himself the burden of being a bright and whole soul.

What is my greatest extravagance? My greatest extravagance is my inner nature, in fact I’m not human

On what occasion would I lie? Whenever I see something I cannot say it because if I said it I would cause a lot of damage and suffering.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The only thing I dislike is the fact that in my country (Italy) art is considered an hobby

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? The times when I am happy are when I am alone in my studio and immersing myself in my multidimensional world, from which I draw inspiration to create my artworks.

If I could, what would I change about myself? I wish I could be more lighthearted

What is my greatest achievement in work? My greatest satisfaction is to have invented the technoastral portrait. The technoastral portrait is a depiction of the soul project embodied in a human body. I am proud that I was able to access the dimension of mathematical abstraction to accurately and uniquely depict the essence of a human being.

Where would I most like to live? I would like to live in a serene place in the midst of nature, where I can meditate and find the silence and concentration necessary for my artistic work. Perhaps when I am old I can afford a house in the Tuscan hills where I can retire

What is my most treasured possession? My most precious possession is my beloved children even if the children are nobody’s, as Gibran says in the beautiful poem “the children.” “your children are not your children […]they do not come from you but through you and although they are with you, they do not belong to you […]”

What is my most marked characteristic? I believe I am a disposable person who puts others at ease, I often turn out to be nice and good company

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I have lived in many different places, every time I arrive in a new place I look for the places where nature is most present. currently I answer the sea, the sea in winter, the deserted beach where I can walk and listen to the sound of the waves

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? I love eating and drinking in homes and I am good at cooking, so to this question I answer my home and my friends’ home. On the other hand, if I have to think of a public place, I think of a restaurant by the sea where I often go because the atmosphere is familiar and it feels like being on the deck of a boat, I love that place, it makes me feel like I am traveling

What books influenced my life and how? my book of life is Mikhail Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita. I consider it much more than a book, it is a treatise of wisdom and knowledge masquerading as a novel. This novel influenced me in viewing the magical aspect of life and helped me greatly to understand certain dynamics that, from an ordinary point of view, remain unanswered

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? Translucent dodecahedron, that belongs to Louis Sicilian’s album “Ancient cosmic truth” . This music comes from another dimension and accompanies the soul to the brighter parts of the cosmos

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Beth, the protagonist of the “Chess Queen” series.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? All those people who fight for a just cause and are willing to sacrifice even their lives

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Der Himmel über Berlin, by Wim Wenders

What role play stories in my life and work? Alice in Wonderland

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? These words amused me because I know I have a peculiar life and I have always thought that a movie could be made out of the things that have happened to me so far, the ending however I don’t know yet and I think the best is yet to come

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? certainly the director Marco Poma (and his Milanese production house “Metamorfosi editrice”) was a great partner in crime of mine both in work and in life. the reality of Magic and unique group for the understanding it demonstrates towards the needs of the planet’s creatives and all the people who support me and follow me on the path of the Tarot, which is the path to Sirius. I don’t know if the word “fan” is accurate, but I know that there are many people who have managed, through me, to improve their existential condition. This is very beautiful and fills me with happiness, they should demonstrate the gratitude they show me to themselves because they were able to follow a path, I only showed the way.

Which people or companies would I like to work with ? I would like to work for the great entrepreneurs who rule the world and who are unattainable: Michael Bloomberg, Warren Buffett, Larry Ellison, Jeff Bezos,Bernard Arnauld,Elon Musk :)) If you can contact them and make them interested in my case, it would be a real movie story, one of those that remain in the history of human beings. However, remaining with my feet more on the ground, I tell you that one of my dreams is to collaborate with Pixar Animation Studios, also as a creator of stories, characters, plots

What project am I looking forward to work on? As an artist alone, since 2020 I have been carrying out a project called “The little legionary project”. It is a question of channeling and then objectifying the superior intelligences of light, true warriors of light, who arrive on planet earth in the form of legions. They are in their second season, the first was all sold and the warriors of light ended up scattered in European homes, from England to Italy, thanks to the fact that many people bought them even without understanding the profound meaning of the object they have purchased. In fact, it is very difficult to make people understand that we are in a moment of war between light and darkness and that the film “Star Wars” is not that far from the truth.

Another project that I created and which is involving more people (art critics, historians and theater actors) is the one on the Genius Loci of the city where I live. I thought of giving a shape to the soul of the place where I live,( you know that every place on Earth has a spirit that characterizes it). Through pictorial art and my astrological knowledge I can create a portrait of the soul and therefore I can also give shape to the spirit of a place. Through archive research I can create a bridge between past and present because the city where I live now has a very strong alchemical tradition and was founded in 1557 by those who knew these things and did not consider them nonsense. So I am carrying out a project that is like a bridge that unites many disciplines and many different approaches to reality because on the one hand there is the historical, intellectual and university research aspect that has archived the historical sources that attest to the foundation of the city , on the other there is the research of local and non-local history, who have cataloged the
documents that attest to the astrological and alchemical knowledge that the marquis who founded the city possessed and then I resurrect all these things in the light of new millennium and art. A very ambitious and also very stimulating project, which requires serious attention and commitment.

What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? I respond with a quote from James Hillman’s book “The Code of the Soul”: A vocation can be postponed, eluded, at times lost sight of. Or it can possess us totally. It doesn’t matter: it will come out eventually. The daimon does not abandon us.
