What is the best thing that I love about my work?
I love that I can tell stories and create characters and new worlds through my paintings.
What is my idea of happiness?
I am happiest when I’m doing what is important to me and seeing it progress.
What is my greatest fear?
I have a lot of fears not being able to hear my thoughts over loud music is the most ridiculous.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
Overthinking and wanting to see the outcome of everything beforehand.

What is my greatest extravagance?
Art materials. I always need more.
On what occasion would I lie?
I guess I will find out.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
The prep time. The bigger the artwork the more colours I use. It used to be tedious and scary to find all the colours that match but also stand out from one another.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
When I start a new painting.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
I would change how anxious I am about everything. Also if time travel was possible I would’ve started painting full-time earlier.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
I am still waiting on that.
Where would I most like to live?
In Korea for at least a year.
What is my most treasured possession?
My art materials.
What is my most marked characteristic?
Sometimes I’m lazy and other times so hyped to do more work.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
The art galleries and Comic Con in Lagos.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?
At home.
What books influenced my life and how?
Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and Serpent by Clive Cussler. These books made me think about what I wanted for myself and inspired me to follow my passion.

Velma from Scooby-Doo. She’s smart and wears glasses.

My older sister, Ifeanyi also an artist.

In my work, stories are an insight into my perspective and personal experience. They tell me where I am coming from and where I hope to go.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ mean to me?
These words tell me that I live my life by the decisions I make.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
Don’t know about sponsors but my sisters Ifeanyi and Chiagoziem are my biggest fans and I am theirs.
