What I love about my work is my total freedom, in my life as in my creativity.

What is my idea of happiness ?
My idea of happiness : good human relations.

What is my greatest fear ?
My greatest fear is the loss of the people I love. I also fear violence and war.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself ?
I can be very hard on others and on myself.

Which living persons in my profession do I most admire ?
My artists friends. To name only the artists who live in France : Jacques
Bodin, Ronald Bowen, Hubert de Lartigue, Bernard Prillieux. They all are
great human beings and great painters.

What is my greatest extravagance ?
My work.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work ?
I don’t like the commercial part.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work ?
I am happy every day, in my studio, when I am painting, with the music on.

If I could, what would I change about myself ?
I am very greedy, I would like to be able to remain stoic in front of a cake, an
ice-cream, a box of chocolates,…

What is my greatest achievement in work ?
I haven’t done it yet.

Where would I most would like to live ?
I was born in Paris, I lived in other places, but I came back, because I love
Paris.

What is my most treasured possession ?
My ability to paint is my most treasured possession.

What is my most marked characteristic ?
I would say it is my origins, french and vietnamese.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city ?
Paris is an open air museum, so it is everywhere around me.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city ?
They are many good places to eat and drink in Paris : for pizzas, I like to go
to Peppe, rue des Martyrs, for chinese food, le Mirama, rue St Jacques, for
french food, la Tour Montlery, rue des Prouvaires, for libanese food, Noura,
avenue Marceau, etc..

What books influenced my life and how ?
There is a book that influenced a lot my life. I was young, idealist and very
naive, I had just started some studies in political science, and I read « Out of
the night » by Jan Valtin. I discovered a world of manipulations, strategies,
the dark side of politics. I began to doubt my choice of studies. Later on, I
stopped.

You only die once. What music would I listen on my last day ?
An opera by Mozart would sound nice.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction ?
I have no hero in fiction.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life ?
My current heroines are Iranian women, fighting bravely for their human
rights.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime ?
Alice in wonderland by Tim Burton.

What role play stories in my life and work ?
Stories are important, I learn a lot from them.

What do the words « You are the storyteller of your own life » to me ?
I think they are the reality.

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
My best friend is my greatest fan and supporter.

Which people or companies would I like to work with ?
I have no preference, I take what is given to me.

What project am I looking forward to work on ?
I would love working on a huge painting.

What do the words « Passion never retires » mean to me ?
They mean that I will paint until the last day of my life, if my health allows it.

Which creative heroines should Peter invite to tell their story ?
I read different interviews of « The heroine’s journey », and there are such
different women with different passions, personalities and backgrounds, I
think Peter should continue as he is doing.
