For You

Professional Development

What if greater self-insight led to better choices – in your work and in your life? Our trainings combine storytelling — including your own story — with insights from psychology and philosophy to help you slow down, go deeper, and act more consciously. Self-knowledge is the key to better performance, stronger collaboration, and greater fulfillment. For professionals and leaders who want to grow into their role, collaborate more effectively, and find clarity in both work and life — through the stories that shape who they are.

OUR THEMES

The Heroine’s Journey is here for every phase of your career, and for life’s big and small questions. Built for right-brain creative professionals, our programs fall into six core themes: talent development, collaboration, and leadership, alongside career management, time management, self-promotion, money management, and self-organizing.

TRAININGS TO DISCOVER YOUR STORY

TRAININGS TO DISCOVER YOUR STORY

Rewrite your story, transform your life and business. Do you know which archetypes drive you, and how to put them to their best use? Every archetype lives inside a story — the one you tell yourself about yourself, often without realizing it. In our programs, you uncover the archetypes at the root of your strengths and rewrite the story that shapes how you show up, so you can achieve better results in the workplace and beyond. This way, you get more enjoyment and fulfillment out of your work — and your life.

ONE DAY JOURNEYS

StorySelling for Heroines

Do you find it hard to get people on board? Whether you want to make your point clearly or convince your colleagues, doing so effectively and respectfully is an art — especially when others shout louder or misuse power within the organization. Raising your voice isn’t the answer. So what is?

Storytelling as a skill

Philosophers like Machiavelli and speakers like Obama know exactly what it takes to move people — and what they share isn’t charisma alone, but the ability to tell a story that lands. It’s not always an innate talent; storytelling for impact is a skill you can learn. It’s about sensing the needs and feelings of others and shaping your story to meet them. In this training, you learn how to influence and persuade colleagues and clients through the stories you tell. How does rhetoric help you? How does power work within a narrative? With insights from psychology and philosophy, you’ll stand more firmly in your own story — and negotiate from a stronger place.

Learn to influence, persuade, and captivate through story

In one day, you learn how to exert influence in a respectful and receptive way — through storytelling. You’ll build the skills to convince others more effectively, and discover how to draw on your own personality and personal story while doing it. Persuasion doesn’t have to be cunning or forceful. It can also be open and honest. This is how you bring out the best in yourself and in others.

During this training you will:

  • Gain insight into how you’ve exerted influence up to now, and the story behind it
  • Reflect on how you or others wield power and make moral choices within a narrative
  • Get acquainted with classical rhetoric and how inspiring speakers use storytelling to apply it
  • Explore leading theories on power, influence, and the ethics involved
  • Develop confidence in your own ability to influence through the stories you tell
  • Learn to stay closer to your own needs and goals when others try to influence you with theirs
