What is the best thing that I love about my work?

I love to be able to imagine anything i want and to give it life with my hands. This is an indescribable feeling. 

What is my idea of happiness?

To be surrounded by the people i love

To become blind or to lose my memory

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
I am way to anxious and stressed about the things i care about. I put so much pressure on myself that it drives me crazy sometimes. 
And even though i’m well aware of it, i can’t help it… But i’m working on it

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?One of the person i admire the most is actually an architect : Frank Gehry. He brought to the world incredible buildings which are spectacular in all aspects. I like his free vision and the feeling that anything is possible.I had the chance to assist at a conference at the Fondation Louis Vuitton where he talked about his life’s works… And i was deeply touched by his humbleness, even though he is a genius and probably one the most important architects of all times.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

Not to be able to control the shipping services. I get upset when a package is late or even worst : lost !

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

When i receive messages from my customers telling me they love their purchase.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

My anxiety ! Sometimes it gets in the way of my organisation. 

What is my greatest achievement in work?

So far, to be able to do the job i really love. It’s been a long way to break free from my previous jobs as an employee. 

Where would I most like to live?

I love my city, Paris. But i would love to have a second small house in the south of France, where i grew up. I miss the sea and the sun.

What is my most marked characteristic?

I am like a cat, I always fall back on my feet. 

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?I would say the Saint Louis island in the heart of Paris. I like this feeling that nothing has changed for centuries there. Everytime i go there, it’s like travelling in time. 

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

A small brasserie called Le Lutetia on the Saint Louis Island, just next to the Louis Philippe bridge. I like to sit there and write for hours, wondering about all things and watching people passing by. 

What books influenced my life and how?

“The 4 agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz. It’s a book based on ancient Toltec wisdom that helps you to break free from your self-limiting beliefs. This book gave me a new understanding of human psychology and made me understand how we can manage our negative feelings. Also, it made me realize the impact a simple phrase can have on someone and to pay more attention to what i say.

Erik Satie, it gives me peace.

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime?

The Italian movie “The great beauty” from Paolo Sorrentino. It’s the story of a 65 years old journalist, king of the Roman society, that is living in a superficial world full of crazy rich people. But in the same time, he is a very sensitive person looking for something pure and deep. This movie is all about this paradox and explores existential questions. It’s a master piece in my point of view.

What role play stories in my life and work?

In my work, i like to tell stories about the objects i make. I really enjoy explaining my inspirational process. I also think it gives more value to the product, like a hidden secret. 
In my personal life, I need to find a purpose in everything i do. I believe that anything happens for a reason, and i like to find stories that create the link. 

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?
Yes indeed ! Only you can decide about your life. It’s all in your hands.
