The Heroine’s Journey of Safia Bouadan

What is the best thing I love about my job? The freedom to create, one feels fully alive!
What is my idea of happiness? That of always striving towards him by including the other who also participates in our happiness. It is a sharing .
What is my greatest fear? To play hide and seek with her…it is better that she reveals herself quickly to look her in the face
What is the trait I deplore the most in myself? The one I don’t see
Which people living in my profession I admire the most? Women and men committed humanists such as the late Audrey Hepburn and more recently artists carrying the MeToo movement and those fighting against all forms of discrimination.
What is my greatest extravagance? My little crazy chip and my too big chocolate greed !

On what occasion would I lie If I have to protect a person or a group that would be too disturbed if I told them that truth but I would not lie to them, I will adapt.to tell the truth later
What is the one thing I hate most about my job? The constraint of having to find solid productions or finances to see our creation or project come true and spread. Creating is not enough and productions are not very accessible to creators, which means that initially we self-produce.
When and where was I happiest in my work? On stage: a theatre or cinema scene but not only… When we are rewarded by our efforts with our entire team, as we did recently for the Arte Competition «Et pourtant elles tournent», our first short documentary «Entre mes mains» directed with Sophie Parel. It attracted the attention of the Jury ranked 30th out of more than 800 proposals, which encouraged us. We now want to move towards a unitary system in order to exploit all the stakes and have thus had production tracks.
If I could, what would I change at home? Everything is movement, everything changes, me too, and as I write, the mystery happens…
What is my greatest success at work? To have combined all my passions since my childhood by concretizing them: the arts as actress-singer/ author-writer-director/ director and the study of sociology at the UER René Descartes de Paris V Sorbonne, where I was able to specialize in “health ethics, morals and human rights” with my Professor Jean Marc Alby, of whom I was also a collaborator and Professor Pierre Cuer with them at the Centre d’Ethopsychologie et d’Ecologie in
Paris V and Paris VI . On the one hand I specialized on the subject « Stress and major traumas » with Professor Luis Crocq , Military psychiatrist and Surgeon General of the Armies, precursor of the Cells medico psychological. Thanks to them ! Thanks to my work over several years, I became an Observer in 1999 at UNESCO’s IBC and then an Expert at UNESCO’s Geobs since 2007. This background serves me on a daily basis in my work and creations, having founded in 2005 a socio-cultural association L’Onde Bleue turned towards creation in connection with citizen values including the fight against discrimination and defending the cause of children in danger.

writings such as « Les enchainés » or « Pas de printemps pour Marnie » or « Vertigo »… These films fed my series «memory trapped» a political and psychological thriller but also outside of Oscar Wilde, my novel « Sang vie » in the psycho-sociological frame that surrounds my character Jean Carello who is now deposited in a publishing house.
What role-playing stories in my life and work? That of a woman plural but anchored in life, committed citizen, fully artist and anchored but also avant-garde in her time
