What is the best things that I love about my work?

What I like most about my job is the possibility of always meeting many new people, exchanging opinions and ideas with them. The dynamism of this work is one of the things I love most. In fact, Colorussia is an Instagram platform for the dissemination of the Russian language and culture, which offers concrete help to all those who are interested in learning about a reality that is very distant from us and yet fundamental.

What is my idea of happiness?

My idea of ​​happiness is a good book and a cup of tea. Not forgetting my cat!

What is my greatest fear?

My greatest fear is that of losing enthusiasm and curiosity, which are the engine of my research work.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

Surely impatience is one of the traits of my character which, at times, I am not at all proud of.

Which living person in my profession do I most admire?

The great Norma Carletti, who is an inspiration for my work of spreading the Russian language and culture (on Instagram and on the web).

What is my greatest extravagance?

Perseverance and tenacity, which to date have allowed me to get where I have arrived.

On what occasion would I lie?

On no occasion. I firmly believe that lies are never good, nor are they told for a good purpose.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

This is Hard to say! Sometimes the uncertainty, due to the dynamism of the work itself, but it’s still part of the game and that’s okay.

When and Where was I the happiest, in my work?

Well, obviously how much I can achieve the goals I set myself every day: the sale of more than 300 copies of my first book is certainly one of the moments I remember with the greatest happiness.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

As mentioned above, at least mitigate my impatience.

What is my greatest achievement in my work?

Certainly the publication of the second book: Another step into the swamp, which tells the story of the Vietnam War from an unusual point of view.

Where would I most like to live?

Honestly I don’t know, first I’d like to travel all over the world so as to have the right yardstick between one city and another. If I had to choose based on the places visited so far, surely Copenhagen, Denmark. A city that struck me deeply and that I’ve always been madly in love with.

What is my most treasured possession?

Stubbornness, yes, I would say stubbornness, thanks to which, however, I have had and hope to continue to have a lot of satisfaction.

What is my most marked characteristic?

In addition to stubbornness, I think that my marked characteristic is brightness.

What is my most inspirational location in my city?

I live in a small village in the Tuscan Maremma: Magliano, and my favorite place is undoubtedly the walls that surround my town.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

I am a real food lover, and I have many favorite places not only in my country but also outside. I also like to always try new tastes and new foods.

What books influenced my life and how?

There are a lot of books, but certainly those of Dostoevsky, Irene Nemirovsky, Tiziano Terzani, Alda Merini, Angelo del Boca.

You only die once. What music would I listen on my last day?

Probably classical music or Jazz.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Undoubtedly Xena: the warrior princess.

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

Frida Khalo: a strong, exuberant, courageous, revolutionary woman and full of life and love.

Which movie would I recommend to see once in lifetime?

Choosing a few is difficult, but I try: definitely full metal jacket, back to the future and the films of the legendary Adam Sandler or Paolo Sorrentino.

What role play stories in my life and work?

I would say fundamental, it is the lifeblood of my writings and of my Colorussia project.

What do the words “You are the storyteller of your own life” to me?

That each of us is the architect of our own destiny. Everything revolves around choices, and the personal choices we make every day, even the seemingly most insignificant ones, mark our existence for better or for worse.

Who is my greatest fun, sponsor, partner in crime?

Definitely my family: dad and mom are my constant strength, my unconditional supporters.

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2022?

There are some instagram pages for spreading the Russian language that I would like to collaborate with, but I cannot say more because some are taking shape. I would also like to make the Colorussia project known outside of Italy and then start collaborating with creators from other countries.

What project, in 2022, am I looking forward to work on?

I would like to be able to achieve the 24 CFU useful for teaching qualification, as well as the goal of winning the competition for a diplomatic career.
