What is the best thing that I love about my work?

Working on my music is like building my magic cabin when I was a kid,  it takes ages, but you’re so proud when it’s done, you created something that looks like you, then the next day you grow a little bit older and you move on to another cabin that will look more like you. 

What is my idea of happiness?

Balance, balance between love, family, party, music, work and rest. 

What is my greatest fear?

Leaving the earth having regrets.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I am very anxious, often worried about what people may think of me, but I’m working on it every single day.

What is my greatest extravagance ?

My fancy shoes, I have tons of shoes, with glitters, funny ribbons… 

On what occasion would I lie ?

I often lie to my grandmother, only not to hurt her when she buys me ugly clothes.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work ?

Music industry is a tough background, where real music lovers are hard to find and where it is hard to last, I wish I could feel more secure about my future.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

At home, dancing on some fresh new tunes I just recorded.

If I could, what would I change about myself?

I’m already changing things I don’t like. Every day ! 

What is my greatest achievement in work?

I don’t feel like I’ve reached it yet… I will let you know.

Where would I most like to live?

New Orleans, I went only once during an U.S trip, I felt quite at home there, there is music everywhere.

What is my most treasured possession?

My viola and my Telecaster 

What is my most marked characteristic?

I am very greedy.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

My home of course.

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?

A Japanese restaurant, not especially located in a pleasant neighbourhood but I love their fish. 

What books influenced my life and how?

Since I was a kid I’ve been sensitive to stories that stage characters fighting and resisting against injustice in all its forms. My favourite book ever is The Pillars of The Earth, by Ken Follett.

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?

Without hesitation, Beatrix Kiddo (Kill Bill). 

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?

My sister, my brother, my boyfriend, my best friends, my grandmothers, and the guy who invented the BN cookies.

What role play stories in my life and work?

A huge part. Music must tell a story, with or without lyrics doesn’t matter.  What makes music beautiful is the way it can talk to you, the melodies, harmonies, nuances,  it’s all part of a story. In addition to this, I love writing about specific characters, sometimes real, sometimes fictional, I’ve always been fascinated by stories of injustice, rebellion, survival, all my characters come from these thematics. 

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?

I am not sure it is a fair sentence. Before you can be the storyteller of your own life, you must be lucky enough to be born free, loved, healthy, well treated and nourished. There is what depends on you, and what doesn’t depend on you, that can just take away your life from you, and billions of people are in this case. If you are on the lucky side like I am, of course, all you might need to do is never lose sight of the goals.

Obviously my boyfriend Leo. 

Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2022?

Soon I will have to find a tour promoter, I have a few ideas that I want to keep private, because it is too early. 

What project, in 2022, am I looking forward to work on?

New songs, new music videos. I also will spend time to release a few covers.

You might not see me a lot, I am working on a new record, mostly at home. I am planning to tour on 2023.
