What is the best thing that I love about my work? The best thing that I love about my work is using my imagination. I love thinking of ideas, writing them down, and turning them into jokes or starting points for a short film or comedic sketch.
What is my idea of happiness? My idea of happiness is quietness. I am drawn to silence; it is peaceful; it helps me think effectively.
What is my greatest fear? My greatest fear is not being free. I love being independent and standing solo. I do not want to be stifled in any way.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? The trait that I most deplore in myself is restlessness. I sometimes feel guilty when I am relaxing, so I remind myself that I do not have to be active 24-7.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire? Living persons in my profession I most admire are Wanda Sykes and Ellen DeGeneres. These women are gifted, talented, strong, and amazingly funny!
What is my greatest extravagance? My greatest extravagance is buying and consuming organic foods and supplements. I do not travel, buy couture clothing, or visit beauty salons (obviously, right? LOL), but I do treat myself to other healthy things like natural goodies.
On what occasion would I lie? I would lie on an occasion to save an innocent person or animal from harm. I do not want to see any organism in pain.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The thing I dislike the most in my work is having to get over my fears and doubts.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I was happiest in my work when I was taking acting classes. I love learning. And my instructors have taught me a lot.
If I could, what would I change about myself? If I could, I would change when I decided to pursue acting. I would have started earlier in my life.
What is my greatest achievement in work? My greatest achievement in work is a blog I started in 2020. I put myself out there and posted many of my innermost thoughts and ideas for people to read.
Where would I most like to live? I would most like to live in an area that has a warm climate, open land, and a snazzy sandwich shop that is across the street from my home.
What is my most treasured possession? My most treasured possession is my journals. I have only a few, but they tell a wonderful story.

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? In my city, my most inspirational location is a park in Detroit called Belle Isle. It has lots of trees, places to bike ride, spots for sunbathing, and a cool river to watch boats float by.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? My favorite place to eat and drink in my city is a pizza place called Buddy’s. Top notch!
What books influenced my life and how? Keep Moving by Dick Van Dyke influenced my life. And a book by Dr. Nandi titled, 5 Steps to Becoming Your Own #HealthHero. These books are smart reminders on taking care of yourself. The importance of good health is a common theme in both books.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? On my last day I would listen to music by Bob Marley and Prince. I love their songs; they make me smile, think, laugh, and cry.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? My heroine in fiction is Cassie Logan. She is the main character in a book titled, Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, by Mildred D. Taylor. Cassie Logan is smart and strong; she has admirable traits.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? In real life my hero is my Dad. He is a veteran. He has a lot of patience! And he is always there to support me.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime? I would recommend The Color Purple as a movie to see once in a lifetime. This film will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. I remember seeing it on Christmas Day 1985 and even as a kid, it moved me.
What role play stories in my life and work? Stories play a heavy role in my life and work. Stories influence me and teach me. And I keep an open mind when I am “studying”.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? To me, the words ‘you are the storyteller of your own life’ mean that one’s life is in their hands; it is up to each person to live their life on their own terms. We hold and control the ink pen that writes our individual story.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My greatest partner in crime is my best friend Zak. He and I have entertaining and silly conversations like all the time. We help each other; we are there for each other.
Which people or companies would I like to work with? I would love to work with Tina Fey and Eminem, LOL but serious. I would also love to be on Saturday Night Live as a host of at least one episode. And I would enjoy doing voice over work for a few companies in the hospitality industry.
What project am I looking forward to work on? I am looking forward to completing my one-woman show project. I am currently writing it.
