The Heroine’s Journey of Anna Snowlet

What is the best thing that I love about my work? I’m a freelance illustrator and the best thing about my work is that I’m doing what I love. I express my feelings and thoughts through my drawings, share my inner world with other people, and experiment with my art the way I want. All of this inspires me.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? I don’t like when clients delay payment for no reason, and I have to remind them many times to pay for my work. I also don’t like that it’s not enough just to draw, you also need to know and do a lot of things that are not related to drawing, such as legal issues, promotion, and so on.

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? When, after years, I started drawing again and turned my favorite hobby into a profession. I was also incredibly happy when I was working on my picture book “The Mystery of the Lunar Forest”. I haven’t completed it yet, but I put a lot of personal experiences, and memories from life into it, and I showed in it my path to finding myself as an artist.

If I could, what would I change about myself? I would add more self-confidence and courage.

What is my greatest achievement in work? The fact that I decided to follow the path of the artist and make it my profession. This step was given to me with great difficulty, as I doubted my strength and that I could achieve something.
