What is the best thing that I love about my work?
Most of the films I’ve made so far have been without a technical team, so, the best thing I might love about my job of making films without a technical team is probably the creative freedom. I can have total control over all aspects of the film, from script writing to final editing. This allows me to express my artistic vision without compromises. In addition, I learn and master various skills along the way, which can be very rewarding.
What is my idea of happiness?
My idea of happiness is to spend quality time with my family and have good health. The satisfaction of doing what I love, engaging in activities that I’m passionate about. Exploring the world, looking, and experiencing new places, new cultures and gaining a broader perspective on life
What is my greatest fear?
My great fears are two things: death and, of course, spiders.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
My great regret was not having taken full advantage of life earlier, not giving it its true value, not doing the things that would have been better for me sooner.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?
I admire many people, but I will Name two names. Martin Scorsese and Kathryn Bigelow.
What is my greatest extravagance?
I think my biggest extravagance is indeed acquiring everything that is books about Norse mythology and the like.
What occasion would I lie?
The occasion where I would lie would be to save myself or someone else from a situation of risk or vulnerability to something.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
The aspect that I dislike the most and that greatly discourages me is the desire to move forward to new projects, or to instill something more creative, but having barriers that prevent me from advancing, thus limiting my creativity and imposing restrictions on my work.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
In 2020 in one of my short film projects that I filmed in my hometown. Where I truly felt that I could break barriers, make a film without a technical team and with promising challenges that were achieved.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
Not to burden myself with so much worry about the smallest things.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
My greatest achievement has been to have managed to make short films so far despite all the difficulties and obstacles I have encountered.
Where would I most like to live?
I would like to live in a Scandinavian country like Norway. This is because I am fascinated by Norse mythology and the nature and culture of the Scandinavian people.
What is my most treasured possession?
My Life.
What is my most marked characteristic?
Being a person of few words.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
A walking trail that is involved in nature in Braga-Portugal, a trail with ruins of old mills and that’s where I find inspiration for my life and for my films.

In my home.
