What is the best thing that I love about my work? The thing I love the most, is it can take my mind to anywhere I want to be

What is my idea of happiness? My daughter is my happiness, I am so proud of her. But give me a beach, where I can listen to the waves and I’m in heaven lol

What is my greatest fear? My mental Health is my fear, I never want to go back to those dark places again

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Judgement, we judge people so easily without knowing their story.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? There are so many, but David Pelzer, wow, you feel like you are in the pages not just reading them

What is my greatest extravagance? A vodka and coke when I go out with friends lol

On what occasion would I lie? To protect those I love from, but not if it were something serious, but if it kept them safe I would lie

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Being disturbed when I’ve told everyone I’m busy, but I still can’t ignore them if they call or come round, it’s just I often lose my chain of thought

When and where was I the happiest, in my work? At home once I completed my first book, although harrowing it was very healing

If I could, what would I change about myself? I can be impatient, I also wear my heart on my sleeve, easily seen but also easily hurt

What is my greatest achievement in work? Letting go of my silence and speaking out, I was so proud of myself. Since then finding one of my books in Waterstones felt like an achievement 😊

Where would I most like to live? Somewhere hot, near a beach, I have a brother and sister in Spain and would love to live there too

What is my most treasured possession? Well although not a possession I treasure my daughter above all else. Next to this is my photograph collection, there are my memories

What is my most marked characteristic? People say my kindness, but I think it cost nothing to be kind

What is my most inspirational location, in my city? Greenwich, it is so multi cultural and full of history, it always seems full of people smiling

What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? Well, I’m a simple woman I don’t really go for foods that make pretty patterns on a plate, give me a steak at the Harvester any time 😂

What books influenced my life and how? There isn’t really a book that influenced my life but listening to peoples stories, many have a great impact on me, and to see how people have dealt with trauma and be where they are now inspires me

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? I love lovers rock something can have a bit of a dance too

Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? I think if I had to pick just one it would be Charlotte Bronte, I love her writing

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? My late Mother and my daughter

Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? Ghost, I’ve seen it so many times but it still makes me laugh and cry

What role play stories in my life and work? After my memoir I started righting lesbian romance/fantasty, being a lesbian my self this fits perfectly with who I am and what I write about. I have a vivid imagination 😂😂

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? Well, who knows
us better than ourselves?

Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? My daughter she really roots for
me

Which people or companies would I like to work with ? I would love to be able to turn my books into movies so any producer that could help me with that is my burning wish

What project am I looking forward to work on? I am having my first book ‘WHY’ written into script and I’m looking forward to where this can take my story
