What is the best thing that I love about my work? First, I consider it a blessing that my hobby became my profession. Through my work I can express myself and that is something rare today.
What is my idea of happiness? To not keep the bad feelings. I feel we must have space for good feelings and never give up on your dreams. Our happiness is our people and our dreams. We create this.
What is my greatest fear? I’m not afraid of death, but the death of my people. That is the reason almost all of my scripts include dialogue about death.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? I have a few things I would like to develop within, especially anxiety and impatience.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? I admire the artist as a person first. I admire many talents like Hans Zimmer although I don’t personally know him. A Greek actress friend of mine whom I admire as an artist and person, (Anna Fonsou) is fighting acting rights in Greece. I admire the talent and the humanity. If you are not human you cannot be an artist.
What is my greatest extravagance? My emotions are my greatest extravagance. It is what benefits me the most as a writer. I am working on controlling my emotions rather than letting them control me.
On what occasion would I lie? In general I hate lies but I at times, I lie to protect my people and myself.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? Lack of fairness is important to me; especially for women. To not stereotype based upon image, or box people based upon appearance. The boxing is for shoes only. But I take contentment in knowing you reap what you sow.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I share unlimited happiness with my work, always and everywhere. The good days and bad days are all embraced.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would like to be less stressed and more patient.
What is my greatest achievement in work? My greatest achievement is being able to live off what I love. It doesn’t feel like work when I am writing and directing. This is a great achievement in itself.
Where would I most like to live? I could live everywhere. I don’t have a favorite place because you never know what God has for you.
What is my most treasured possession? My people and art are the most treasured as well as my rabbit, Monk.
What is my most marked characteristic? I am very emotional and extroverted. I love uniqueness and seek uniqueness. I need passion in my life.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The most inspirational location is my island,Santorini at Caldera view.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city? I have no preference regarding favorites but I love the places that have dancing where I eat well and drink.
What books influenced my life and how? The first book I read “The Dude” by Penelope Delta.
He took me to a new world and showed me the way to share my thoughts on paper.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? I would listen to something happy that my people could remember me by and be at peace with, without me.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Hannibal Lector played by Anthony Hopkins is my fictional hero. This character is interesting because it is based on an actual serial killer.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? The children with cancer and all of the people that fight every day with their Cross.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? I would recommend The Green Mile with Michael Clark Duncan.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? This is my life.
