The Heroine’s Journey of Marisa Milan

What is the best thing that I love about my work?

The most beautiful thing I love about my artistic work…it’s being an extension of myself, something I can share and spread to the world, bringing my philosophical message that comes from my Greek roots. Being able to observe how it reaches the soul of the viewer, creating a subjective emotional state based on the viewer’s unconscious, and seeing them become emotional.

A phrase I always say… “Even before I was born, I already knew how to draw and paint.”

What is my idea of happiness?

My idea of happiness is seeing it in the eyes of a child whose soul is still uncontaminated. I think I lived in Atlantis…my idea of happiness is living in a peaceful world where everyone brings their gifts, appreciating the work and mission we have on this earth. Happiness is found in a hug, in a smile, in encounters that are not casual, with wonderful souls, in the eyes of a child, in nature with its colors that intoxicate and regenerate you, in my world when I enter it and create works of art full of love, feelings, and emotions.

In my work, I am intoxicated with happiness when I hold my art exhibitions and introduce myself by telling my art, which is my emotional story. Connecting with other art lovers, sharing my experiences and leaving a trace for those who listen to me and observe the emotions I create, making the invisible visible
