What is the best thing that I love about my work?
The best thing I love about my work is its spontaneity and the way it flows freely without fear, much like nature itself in constant evolution. I rarely begin with a fixed outcome in mind. Instead, I allow the work to unfold naturally through emotion, intuition, memory, and presence. Randomness often becomes part of the beauty, leading me toward unexpected discoveries and new visual languages. Every painting feels like a conversation with my inner self rather than a performance for the outside world. What keeps me deeply connected to my work is this sense of freedom, exploration, and constant innovation.
What is my idea of happiness?
My idea of happiness is a state that does not depend entirely on the outer world, people, situations, success, or money. It is the feeling of inner bliss and calmness that can exist even when nothing extraordinary is happening externally. Some of my happiest moments are the quietest ones, where I simply feel present, still, and connected to myself. For me, true happiness is not constant excitement but inner peace that remains through changing circumstances.

What is my greatest fear?
My greatest fear is a fear of inactivity driven by fear itself. There are life experiences that matter deeply in uplifting this soul journey, and they require liveliness, openness, and bliss throughout our time on earth. I believe fear often begins in the mind long before it becomes reality, and I never want imagined fears to disconnect me from the beauty of being fully alive. As human beings on this wonderful planet, we have the ability to choose compassion, presence, and courage in each moment of this precious life.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
There were a few traits I struggled with in earlier phases of my life, but over time I have learned to observe, understand, and work through them with greater awareness. Today, I try not to live in self criticism but in self growth. I believe human beings are constantly evolving through experience, reflection, and inner work. Rather than holding onto harsh judgment toward myself, I prefer to remain conscious, open to learning, and committed to becoming a better human being with time.
Which living persons in my profession do I most admire?
Among living artists, I admire Prabhakar Kolte for his awareness, depth, and understanding of art beyond surface aesthetics. I also admire Álvaro Castagnet for the joy and blissfulness he carries while painting. Watching him work feels less like performance and more like pure presence and celebration of life. That state of inner happiness and freedom while creating is something I deeply connect with as an artist.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I do not see my work through the lens of liking or disliking it. For me, art is a lifelong journey rather than a final destination, and because of that there is always something new to understand, improve, and explore. Every phase of my work reflects a particular state of growth, awareness, and learning. Of course, there are areas where I continuously wish to evolve as an artist and as a human being, but that feeling itself keeps the journey alive and meaningful. Overall, I truly love my work and remain grateful for the opportunity to keep creating.
When and where was I the happiest in my work?
Some of the happiest moments in my work were during my first solo exhibition, when I saw the genuine happiness and pride in my parents’ eyes for what I had created and achieved through art. Another meaningful experience was during my third solo exhibition, where several visitors returned repeatedly because they felt personally connected to the artworks and the emotions within them. Realizing that my work could resonate with someone’s memories and inner world gave me immense joy as an artist. At the same time, I also feel that the work which will make me the happiest is still yet to arrive. I continue to wait, grow, and work toward that future with excitement and gratitude.

If I could, what would I change about myself?
One important thing I consciously try to improve is speaking more positively and confidently about the life I wish to create. I believe that when a person can clearly envision something with faith and sincerity, they move closer toward it. There are also a few practical and emotional areas I continue to work on, such as reducing overthinking, learning to say no where necessary, setting healthier boundaries, and becoming more disciplined and consistent with my time and creative work. For me, self growth is not about becoming someone else, but about becoming more aligned, balanced, and conscious with each passing phase of life.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
When I reflect on this question, I realize that one of my greatest achievements is simply standing by my work and continuing to believe in my ability to create. The journey of preserving art, sharing it with the world, and knowing that it can bring emotion or happiness to someone’s life already feels meaningful to me. There were phases where I could have ignored or neglected this path, yet something within always brought me back to creation. At the same time, I also strongly feel that my greatest achievement is still yet to come. I continue to grow, learn, and work toward creating something even more meaningful in the future.
Where would I most like to live?
I would most like to live in a place where nature, silence, creativity, and meaningful human connection coexist harmoniously. I feel deeply nourished by environments that carry peace, openness, beauty, and a strong connection with nature. At the same time, I also dream of living in a space filled with abundance and warmth, a place where prosperity, peace, and inner strength exist together in balance. Home feels like a deeply alive atmosphere where love, health, creativity, and emotional fulfillment can coexist.

What is my most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession is my inner freedom and my ability to remain deeply connected with myself and nature. I value the freedom to think, create, choose, and live consciously in my own way. Over time, I have realized that time, awareness, and inner peace are far more precious to me than material possessions. If everything external were to disappear, I would still want to protect the part of myself that can effortlessly connect with nature, silence, and life itself, because that feels truly irreplaceable to me.
What is my most marked characteristic?
One of my most marked characteristics is my constant evolution as a person and as an artist. People often notice a sense of continuous creativity, change, and artistic exploration in the way I live and work. Freedom is at the core of my approach toward life, and I deeply value the ability to think independently, make my own decisions, and stand by them when necessary. Qualities like kindness, discipline, honesty, consistency, curiosity, and intuitive observation have remained constant within me over the years.
What is my most inspirational location in my city?
My most inspirational location is not limited to one specific place in my city. I feel most inspired wherever I can deeply connect with nature and its elements, the sky, earth, air, water, light, and open space. For me, inspiration is less about a physical destination and more about entering a state of connection with nature and life itself.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink in my city?
One of my favorite places to eat and spend time in my city is Aroma Cafe, where I enjoy relaxing conversations, pizza, and trying different drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. I also enjoy visiting PizzaExpress. Beyond the food itself, I appreciate places that carry warmth, good energy, and allow people to slow down and genuinely enjoy the moment.
What books influenced my life and how?
Many books and literary works have influenced my life emotionally, spiritually, and creatively. As someone deeply connected with the Marathi language, the poetry of Grace, Aarti Prabhu, and Vinda Karandikar has stayed very close to my heart. Their writings inspired me to write poems myself, and I hope to publish my own Marathi poetry collection in the future. Kabir Ke Dohe deeply influenced my understanding of life and human nature. Kora Canvas by Prabhakar Barwe encouraged me to think more deeply about art and observation. Siddhartha made me reflect on oneness and existence in a profound way. Bhagavad Gita continues to guide me through reflection
and clarity. I am also excited to repeatedly read Ways of Seeing by John Berger because I feel it carries endless layers of understanding about art and perception.

You Only Die Once. What music would I listen to on my last day?
The first music that comes into my mind is the music of nature itself, the sound of birds, wind, silence, water, and the natural atmosphere around me. I would love to be surrounded by nature and its living rhythms. I also deeply love music, but I do not
think I could choose only one piece for a final day. I would rather live each day fully,
consciously, and peacefully without fear or overthinking about the last moment. In the
end, maybe the most beautiful music is simply the feeling of being alive while we are
here.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction?
I do not strongly relate to the idea of heroes or heroines in fiction. I have always been more interested in understanding real human consciousness, emotions, and life itself rather than idealizing fictional characters. I prefer observing life directly, learning through personal experience, nature, awareness, and my own inner journey.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
I do not usually place people into the categories of heroes or heroines, because I believe every human being carries both light and shadow, strength and imperfection. Rather than idolizing individuals, I feel more inspired by qualities such as awareness, courage, kindness, authenticity, and conscious living wherever I encounter them.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime?
I would strongly recommend Good Will Hunting and Life Is Beautiful. Both films touched me deeply in very different ways. Good Will Hunting explores human potential, healing, vulnerability, and genuine connection. Life Is Beautiful portrays love, hope, innocence, and emotional strength even in difficult circumstances.
What role do stories play in my life and work?
I do not believe that every artwork necessarily carries a literal story, but I do believe that the hands behind the art always carry one. Human emotions, memories, silence, longing, healing, spiritual growth, and invisible inner states naturally become part of the creative process because they are part of being human itself. Nature remains my greatest teacher, and stories exist within the energy, emotions, and presence behind creation.

What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ mean to me?
To me, these words mean living with awareness and conscious presence. When a person becomes deeply conscious of how they are living, they can slowly reshape their thoughts, choices, responses, and ultimately their life itself. We may not control every circumstance, but we do participate in shaping the story of our lives through awareness, growth, and inner understanding.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
My greatest fan, supporter, and partner in crime is my love, Harrshad Gholap. Having someone who genuinely believes in me, supports my journey, and stands beside me through different phases of life and creativity means a great deal to me.
Which people or companies would I like to work with?
I would love to collaborate with international museums, galleries, and creative institutions that deeply value emotional, philosophical, and immersive artistic experiences. Some of the institutions and creative ecosystems I admire include Tate Modern, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Louvre Abu Dhabi, NGMA, Gagosian, and David Zwirner. Long term, I hope to contribute toward creating spaces and projects that emotionally move people and encourage deeper connection with creativity, nature, and life itself.
What project am I looking forward to work on?
I look forward to meaningful collaborations with respected art galleries and creative spaces around the world. One of my long term visions is to create a large artistic space where people can emotionally experience and celebrate art. I am also looking forward to working on a future series inspired by the Ramayana, though I prefer not to reveal much about it until the work is truly ready to be shared.
Where can you see me or my work?
At the moment, you can primarily see me and my work through my Instagram and LinkedIn platforms, where I regularly share parts of my artistic journey, artworks, and creative thoughts. I am also currently working toward building my own independent creative platform and e commerce website under the name SuvarnaDheringe.com.
What do the words ‘Passion Never Retires’ mean to me?
True passion is not something limited by age, status, or phases of life. When someone deeply loves what they do, it becomes part of their very existence. In my artistic journey, passion has always felt like a source of bliss, movement, and inner aliveness. When a person is truly connected to their passion, they do not merely work, they dance with life itself.
Which creative professionals should Peter invite to tell their story?
One creative professional who comes to my mind is Prakash Thombre, an artist working beautifully with ink and sketches. I appreciate his creative spirit and artistic journey, and I feel artists who quietly continue creating with sincerity and dedication also deserve spaces where their stories can be shared and heard.
