09 Nov. The Heroine’s Journey Paris: Leadership in Times of Change

An Intensive Four-Day Leadership Deep Dive

Your organisation is changing, and you are expected to show the way. But how do you provide direction when you don’t have all the answers yourself?

You may find that plans look logical on paper, yet encounter resistance, fear or resignation from your team in practice. How do you keep both your team’s motivation and your own motivation high?

About the training: Leadership in Times of Change

In this four-day programme, you explore the deeper dynamics of change.

You learn to look at transformation through the lenses of psychology and philosophy to understand what is really happening at moments of transition. You won’t receive superficial tricks or quick fixes, but develop a deeper understanding of behaviour and the courage to determine the course when things become challenging.

What you will learn during Leadership in Times of Change

  • The psychology of behaviour: Understand interaction patterns and behaviour through Transactional Analysis (TA).
  • Increase self-awareness: Explore your inner voices and sub-personalities through Voice Dialogue.
  • Working with resistance: Learn to recognise resistance as a signal of underlying needs and dynamics.
  • Navigating systems: Gain insight into the forces at play between stakeholders and learn about effective interventions.
  • Psychological safety: Explore the balance between providing safety and challenging your team members.
  • Sustainable habits: Design concrete routines and “tiny habits” to integrate new behaviour into your everyday practice.

Who is this programme for?

This mid- and senior-level training is designed for leaders who play an active role in an organisational transformation.

You will probably recognise yourself in some of the following situations:

  • You are responsible for a transition, but also feel the need to step back, take a wider perspective and reflect.
  • You want to create a safe working environment in which the unspoken can be spoken about.
  • You have discovered that rational arguments are not enough to bring your team along towards a new direction.
  • You want to fully understand the human side of change, so that you can respond to it effectively.
  • You are willing to examine your own life story and behavioural patterns in order to deepen your leadership.

You don’t need to arrive with a ready-made strategy. What we do ask is a willingness to look through the lenses of psychology and philosophy at the real dynamics of your organisation and your own role within them.

Why now?

Organisations are changing at an unprecedented speed.

The arrival of AI, new generations entering the workplace, increasing diversity and new forms of collaboration are making organisations more complex.

For leaders and managers with strategic responsibility, this means balancing strategy and humanity, speed and support, direction and space.

Leadership in times of change requires self-awareness, adaptability and the ability to read the system in which you operate.

It requires leaders who know their own patterns, can tolerate tension and uncertainty, and can continue to provide direction even when the way forward is not yet clear.

In this leadership deep dive, you will deepen your understanding of your role and influence and develop a leadership style that brings calm, clarity and trust.
