I love the freedom of my work to choose what to communicate through my art giving unique sensations
What is my idea of happiness?
my idea of happiness is to see in people’s faces the joy when they observe my art serenity the reflection happiness for me is to give love and joy to all those who feel the need!
What is my biggest fear?
my biggest fear and not being able to create my works for anything that can happen to me in my life I have a lot to do above all helping people with my art is using my profits for people who need my humanitarian aid!
What is the trait that I deplore most in myself?
what I deplore in myself and not succeeding in my humanitarian missions helping others with my art as I would like when I can’t do more ….. for me it’s a failure but I always try to be hopeful and in the end I always try best solution is either for better or for worse something nice I can do it even in my own little way
Which living people in my profession do I admire most?
in my life I admire all the people who believe in me and above all the people who have to teach me more and more on an artistic and humanitarian level!
What’s my biggest extravagance?
my life I think is an extravagance in the sense that I do all that the. I heart commands!
When should I lie?
I think in life you should never lie and make fun of people and never …..
What is the thing I don’t like most about my job?
the only thing in my job that I don’t like are two, having little time for family and private life and having contact with negative people!
When and where have I been the happiest in my job?
the happiest moments in my job were, having sold my works and sent my profits to Africa for the purchase of vaccines against malaria and for helping some Malindi tribes of the Msoloni village in Kenya to build small shops with stone walls to be able to sell food inside the village helping even the oldest! the thing I will like most is when my project of drinking water wells in this village is finished and maybe other villages too .. . another thing that makes me happy with my job and teaching in my social art-therapy artistic laboratory also to disabled people by bringing them to exhibitions and fairs and creating a beautiful synergy in the whole laboratory group!!
If I could, what would I change about myself?
I wouldn’t change anything about myself!!
What is my biggest job success?
my successes in the artistic career have been many and very constructive many prizes and acknowledgments but the most beautiful in absolute has been receive in my house by mail a closed envelope coming from the city of New York opening that envelope … inside I found a honorary diploma from the city of New York by the mayor Bill De Blasio and a great gratitude to the artistic career but above all to my artistic message, my documentary art has taken me far where I never expected !!! another thing that makes me happy and many admirers for my art in social networks all over the world is having achieved so much dreams!!
Where would I most like to live?
I would like to live in Polynesia in Bora Bora an island that already in 2000 started me as far as the artistic path where it all began …. falling in love with the tribal peoples and their purity and simplicity where the bewitching light was breathed in the air of life is its perfumes!
What is my most precious possession?
my most precious asset and the great education taught by my maternal grandparents Leonardo Maglione and Filomena Lamanna and my mother Teresa Maglione who made me strong and creative and with a great desire to give my love to people and my father Macaluso Antonino who made me an independent and strong woman with her hard teaching and my man Castelli Giuseppe who gave me great strength to go on with my ideals!
What is my most marked characteristic?
my most marked feature in art and my pictorial trait the particularity of expression the choice of my subjects, the three-dimensionality, the ethnicity, the soul of what I see in my travels during the discovery of peoples hidden by technology, sensitizing not only facts that actually happened but also what can be recovered from that subject therefore the culture and changes the customs and customs but also the memory in the hope that nobody will forget that every one of us comes from the colonization of ancient and tribal peoples!!!
What is my most stimulating position in my city?
the most stimulating position of my city and walking around all the streets observing everything that surrounds me and the beautiful murals that tell the story of each writer and also mine because I also love to do murals to leave a trace of me in the city walls
What is my favorite place to eat and drink in my city?
exactly the place I love most in Turin where I can gather my greatest perceptions in art and where to observe my city in full and the Colle della Maddalena in the hills where I can observe my Turin from above in all its great beauty!

my heroes in current life are my parents my pupils and those who believe in my person and in my art such as a very good writer Maria Cicconetti who started writing beautiful poems for my works based on deep feelings of her heart and also author of my autobiographical book ….. but after her other writers also started to write poetry dedicating them to my works telling their feelings Gino Angelo Torchio (writer and doctor) …I also thank my colleague artist Gloria De Marco for believing in my laboratory project and for collaborating remotely with me in the laboratory exhibitions.

the art in my life plays the doctor curing me every kind of bad mood

Which people in my profession who can really make a difference in my creative career would like to meet in 2020?
it would be a wonderful surprise for me in 2020 to meet the critic Vittorio Sgarbi who in Italy is highly respected for his great ability as an art critic … to be able to ask him questions and ask what he thinks of my art !!! For now he only observed in several exhibitions at the: Probiennale Vittorio Sgarbi in 2019 and the Expo Mantova 2019 and the biennale Milano 2019 and in the collective Culture Identity of La Spezia my works passed me many times but I never asked for my shyness to him what he thinks of me as an artist and what he thinks of my works my biggest dream and to have an artistic criticism written by him with his spontaneous will and with his heart would be the are of 2020 is very important for me … ..
Which project in 2020 am I looking forward to working on?
the project that I can’t wait to complete are in drinking water wells for the Msoloni village of Malindi in Kenya still buy many vaccines for Malaria and continue for many other projects in the third world if my art will help me I will be happy to continue

Peter de Kuster is the founder of The Heroine’s Journey & Hero’s Journey project, a storytelling firm which helps creative professionals to create careers and lives based on whatever story is most integral to their lives and careers (values, traits, skills and experiences). Peter’s approach combines in-depth storytelling and marketing expertise, and for over 20 years clients have found it effective with a wide range of creative business issues.
Peter is writer of the series The Heroine’s Journey and Hero’s Journey books, he has an MBA in Marketing, MBA in Financial Economics and graduated at university in Sociology and Communication Sciences.

Should I choose 1:1 coaching?
Our The Heroine’s Journey experiences in world cities allow you to learn not only from the coach but also from your peers. For the small group coaching (1 – 4 people), we have selected important, relevant topics that we find regularly come up for creative professional: purpose, storytelling, creative confidence, self promotion, time & money and resilience.
If you would prefer to work alone or on a different topic, individual coaching is a better fit for you.
