What is the best thing that I love about my work? What I like the most in my job is the sharing. Sharing musical, creative and also crazy ideas. I love being on stage, recording, creative times, and of course being with the right people.
What is my idea of happiness? Beauty in every simple thing you can find everyday.

Honesty and true confidence in someone, the look of the man i share my life with, love. All the emotions that go through me when i look at my son. Playing with my soooo beautiful band of incredible humans beings of LOU K (belgian rock band ). And the combination of all this is my idea of happiness.
What is my greatest fear? My greatest fear is if something…it is soooo my greatest fear that i can’t put it on a paper ! Well, it’s about my loved ones.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? Sometimes i loose my auto discipline for to long.
I’m looking forward to find the good balance between auto discipline and freedom beaches.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? Jonathan Benisty, Radiohead, Björk, my Lou K’s girls, Sting, Eddie Vedder, Lylac…
What is my greatest extravagance? Probably being a musician.
On what occasion would I lie? I would probably lie to protect people i love.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? The thing i dislike its precarity.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I count a lot of beautiful souvenirs…being on stage at La Cigale, at the Olympia with friends in Paris eleven years ago… And i try to be the maximum « me in the present » and concentrate when i’m on stage, sharing music and brotherhood with Jonathan Benisty… A lot of moments on stage are sparkling in my mind.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I’m working on trying to have self tenderness, to let things go and accept my defaults, so i’m more in a mood that makes me trying to transform my defaults in strength. Sometimes it’s working, sometimes not, but when this way works, i’m really efficient.
What is my greatest achievement in work? All my work with Jonathan Benisty ( who is the guy that made me the cellist and musician i’m today ), having a strange musical journey for a cellist. I don’t know if we can talk about achievement but that makes me laugh.
Where would I most like to live? I can see a nice farmhouse, the deluxe version of my dream includes horses.
What is my most treasured possession? My cello.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? The Marolles neighborhood, in Brussels.
What books influenced my life and how? So much, but i would like to quote « 24 hours in a life of a woman » from S. Sweig, a book i bought 4 times, every time forgetting that i already have this book… And all the books i couldn’t get out of, those that brought tears, that will recognize
themselves…
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day? For my last day, i wish i could be accompanied by Piazzola, Jeanne Y Paul, the Four Seasons by Gidon Kremer and the Kremerata orchestra… I wish i could listen again and again the 7th track of Gustav Mahler by Uri Caine between 3min07s and 5min08s..it’s genious and musically orgasmic !! I highly recommand ! And Jacques Brel, Radiohead, the first cello concerto of Shostakovich, and so many more. I hope that 24h could be enough to put in there all the musics i would like to listen before i go.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? Probably Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? My lover and my son, and all women are heroines.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? So much, but right now i would say « Les tontons flingueurs » from G.Lautner.
What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me? It acts on me like an évidence each time i go back to self discipline, and to see some concert’s results very few days after…this words should be a daily mantra.
Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2022? In 2022 i would like to continue to work with my band Lou K, maybe to meet some other musicians, i’m always open to discover new musical adventures.
What project, in 2022, am I looking forward to work on? For now, we are working on the first EP of Lou K, i’m looking for a side job that makes sense. I also always try to be the best musician i can, a good friend and a good partner in love as much as a partner in crime.
