What is the best thing that I love about my work?
As a voice actress, what I love the most about my work is that I can be anyone in the world! I use my voice to tell stories, to help people or companies to deliver what’s important to them. I get to play like a kid and I never feel like I am working! Plus I am part of your life without you even noticing!

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
I am not an instinctive person. I wish I could let my gut speaks for me more often, but I am mostly locked down in my thoughts…The low self confidence too. But what I deplore in myself in my intimacy, in my day to day life, is not the same that I deplore in my work. When I work I feel invincible!
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
I admire and look up to three voice masters: Pierre Maubouché, Estelle Hubert and Lorenzo Pancino. They all have in common to work with passion, you can feel it’s in their hearts. It is amazing to know what they’ve achieved and how humble they are. They are happy to share their knowledge to anybody that is willing to learn and they still have their kid soul! But I also admire anybody that decided to one day give a try to that profession. Small or big talent doesn’t mean anything.
What is my greatest extravagance?
Extravagance..What a powerful word! I guess it depends how one could define it. When I was a teenager my extravagance would come from what I decided to wear, that was quite unusual, I always wanted to feel apart, to bring some originality to my life. Today…. Well, maybe my biggest extravagance was to dive into this crazy profession!
On what occasion would I lie?
Lying is extremely difficult to me. I would rather keep my mouth shut than to lie. I wasn’t even able to lie to my daughter of 4 when she asked me if I would die one day…! I wished I did, but it is honestly really difficult for me to lie. If I could do it, it would be to protect someone from a too hurtful truth.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
I love every single thing in my work! I have been looking for that perle rare since I have the age to work. It is the perfect combination between an artistic, creative work and a technical one. But if I had to pick the thing I like the less I would say…..being confronting to a client that is not happy with what I produced.

The day I started believing in myself in this new world of voices..Every single day is an achievement to something else.

What is my most treasured possession?
My first thought was..my daughter! Then I quickly realized I don’t possess her and no one ever will..probably the word « treasure » made me think of her. Then, if we talk about an object, I don’t think I have any…In our society we can buy everything, and if it is something that I have created, and consequently something that is unique, to me it is not a possession, because it is important to be able to let go on these things. Oh, I got it! My most treasured possession is a box in which there are all the handwritten letters and small words that my friends and family ever wrote to me.

But eating Au Comptoir des Halles brings me another emotion, the family that own the restaurant make you feel at home, so nice with a beer in the sun..

The first book that really moved me and made me want to read more was « Anne Frank the diary of a young girl ». Today, the book I would recommend everybody to read, and the one that never leaves me is « The creative visualization workbook » by Shakti Gawain. It changed my life and is still doing so.

I shouldn’t pick a music for me, but rather for the people that are still living. It’s a very recurrent thing with me, I mostly think about others, even on that day!
