What is the best thing that I love about my work?
I love the freedom of working my own hours, being in control of my time and not needing an alarm to wake up everyday. I love that I can choose where to work
What is my idea of happiness?
I love the sun on my skin and hearing the sea. The beach epitomises freedom, warmth and happiness and playtime.
Financial freedom for myself and my children is the ultimate goal to enable more time on the beach
I have worked a lot on happiness and know it comes from within, no one else is responsible for my happiness
What is my greatest fear?
My children dying before me. That and being stabbed, I don’t like the sight of blood, even if my kids have a graze, my stomach turns
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?
I set myself these targets that I absolutely have to hit, and ifI don’t I self sabotage. I am always striving to be the best that I can be but it becomes an obsession and I will prioritise my targets over living my life, forfeiting going out, relationships, everything. I have an obsessive personality. I am not very good a switching off work mode
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
What is my profession? I am many things. I am a journalist, social media micro influencer, PR expert, events producer and magazine publisher and author. So I admire many people. I try to surround myself with likeminded, ambitious go-getters.
What is my greatest extravagance?
Possibly flying, I am on a plane every 4 weeks.. That and my six children, I give them everything I possibly can because you can’t take it with you when you’re dead and I would rather give them fantastic memories. Ultimately, I work to give them a better lifestyle
On what occasion would I lie?
Never. I am an appalling liar, my face freezes and my eyes look in shock, I would rather tell the truth every time, even it is something they don’t want to hear.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
The emails, constantly chasing invoices. When you’re self employed people forget boundaries. I get messages 10pm at night and all over the weekend and there’s just a complete lack of respect for my downtime

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
I really enjoyed being a promo producer for Yorkshire TV in my 20s and discovering the club scene in the North West in the ‘90s. That job was a lot of fun, but been in the industry I am in, every role I have had feels like I am just having great social life. Meeting people is part of my job. Right now, though, I am the happiest, in Cyprus. I can work around going to the beach and the gym.
If I could, what would I change about myself?
I am constantly changing myself. Two year ago I was 3 stone overweight, I started going to the gym, dropped the weight , I started getting botox, taking more care of my appearance, getting my nails and lashes done and decided to spend more on my self grooming. I would love a new set of boobs after losing all the weight and they came off too! But I wouldn’t elect for any kind of surgery where I need to go under general anaesthetic . I have been on a spiritual path for a few years now and one thing I have earned is that you have to constantly change to be open to new experiences.
What is my greatest achievement in work?
Everything I have done is an achievement, having won awards for my magazine in Liverpool, going to Cyprus in a pandemic and setting up the magazine in another country, I love the awards I have created and the following that goes with it

I am in that place. I decided life is too short not to be in the place you’re happy in. So I moved to Cyprus to be by beautiful beaches and a hot climate
What is my most treasured possession?
I have learned in the last few years not to have treasured possessions. I was very materialistic before the pandemic with a 6 figure income, but I lost it all as my business flatlined for 18 months I count’ do events and no one was advertising. I learned that material possessions are irrelevant, health and love is all that matters. As long I have my children around me, who are NOT possessions, I don’t care about anything else
What is my most marked characteristic?
Well, sadly I am short which is very annoying when you work with models! But my loud personality makes up for it

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
Currently in Cyprus it has to be Cape Greko, endless beautiful coastlines, clifftops and nature walks rich in history. Stunning all year round
And in Liverpool it is the docks of course, so much history, so much suffering, so much resilience, a bit like the people of Liverpool itself
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?
Like Peter Pan who never grew up, my favourite place where I live is Pirates, a bar in Ayia Napa, with great shots and music I can dance to until the sun comes up. Music brings people together, it is one language of love when everyone is on the dance floor, I don’t have a favourite place to eat, I do like nice restaurants and don’t like to limit myself as there are so many good eateries everywhere.
What books influenced my life and how?
Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger- I was a bit of a loner as a child growing up, never had best friends, I was always on the outside of social groups so I felt his sadness
and
You are a Badass by Jen Sincero, I found it in a library at Yale University and it was the start of a spiritual journey for me which prompted me to end my marriage
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?
Ed Sheeran – Bad Habits. I have a lot of them

Who are my heroes and heroines in real life?
Joan Collins, effortlessly elegant stylish and beautiful through the decades
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? What role play stories in my life and work? What do the words ‘You are the storyteller of your own life’ to me?
Everything, you are in control of your destiny, your choices and ultimately your life. No one is responsible for the choices you make and if you don’t like your circumstances change them, if you don’t like the relationship you’re in, end it, If you’re miserable at work, find a job that ignores passion and excitement. Everyone has a story to tell and we are living out our stories, some are far more exciting than others.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
No idea, I trust no one as I have had so many incidents of being trolled, and backstabbed. So I don’t see anyone as a partner in crime or greatest fan. Everyone is welcome to sponsor me as I m fantastic at PR
Which people or companies would I like to work with in 2022?
I like to keep my options open, I want to work with large companies who understand the important of marketing and have big budgets to play with and an open mind as I am a forward thinker.
